Does anyone know if it's ok to take Evening Primrose Oil while breastfeeding? I have been taking 2 capsules a day for the past week as a friend suggested it might help me with a few things and she said she had taken it while b/f. The thing is that Lily's poo now smells of it? (or it could be the soy?) Has anyone else taken it while b/f?

I'm not taking it everyday - just the days that I remember, as I had a whole lot from the end of the pregnancy and I'm sure I was told it was ok to take while BF. (I also read that it was good for other things and I think that it may be helping me as well) I haven't noticed a difference in Blairs nappies between the days I do and don't take it.

Yeah, it could be that the dairy is getting out of her system. I remember Joey having really stinky poo's when we went through this with him too.

Had a look on the internet - typical! - one site said NOT to take it and another said it was perfectly fine lol
