4kms from Tiwai, and the actual fire is 2ks long burning uncontrolled.

We saw 2 helicopters. possibly 3.

Can see the smoke from Mataura which is 40min drive from here...

The smoke is INCREDIBLE!!!!

We saw the red skies from the end of our driveway  It's pretty big. Surprised I couldn't find it on a news website really.

we saw it driving round getting josh to sleep and drove out to tiwi i was sooo pretty at night but i only got crap pics o my phone might try upload them tomorrow
