Both of mine were inductions. With Andrew my waters broke by themselves and then contractions started. Josh they had to be broken by my MW and then the contractions started.

My labour started with me having a show, then 30 min later my waters breaking. Started having contractions about 5 mins after that which were 3 mins apart lasting about a 80 secs. No prelabour for me.
Hope it all goes well for you.

I had a "false start" with contractions + BH on friday. Ended up in hospital to be monitored because Daniel wasn't moving at all during the day. Nothing on Saturday, tummy tightenings but that was it. Got woken at 1am sunday morn with contractions that I couldnt sleep through, got up had a bath etc, nothing helped.. went into hospital at 6am and was 5cm dilated

Mine started with a lower back ache , then gradually grew into contractions at the front , (and then later my legs as well) and was very steady really, i had a very "textbook" labour i suppose
Looking back i probably had a bit of backache the last week, but i didnt pay too much attention to it cos i knew she would be born on the 8th , and she was

I had 12 shows in the days leading up to my labour. First show was on the Wednesday, went into labour on the Saturday which started as niggly back pain, Lauren was born on the Sunday afternoon.
I had a full back labour with not much pain anywhere else apart from my girl bits, otherwise just tightening across my stomach..

I had a show first thing in the morning (about 6am) then nothing much until about 9am when I started feeling overheated and got pains across my belly and in my back. By 10am it was obvious I was having contractions but they didn't seem to have a break inbetween them until I got home and got into the bath and the back pain subsided.

Mine was unexpected as was 2 weeks early, no show, just one morning woke up and waters had broken at 8am, but no contractions or anything. Ended up having irregular contractions from 8pm all night/next morning and then went to hospital 8am for the antibiotics. They were going to induce, but it got regular enough to give birth so stayed and popped her out around lunchtime.

With Maya, contractions started around 4pm on the Wed, I didn't realise what they were, I thought they were gas, it wasn't till I had a show in the bath (my plug literally 'popped' out) that I realised contractions were regular. That went on all day Thurs, went to hospital Thurs night and she was born Fri morning.
With the gremlins it started when the midwife broke my waters to induce me lol, but I had a show earlier that week and was 4cm dilated when I got to hospital for my induction appt so things would prob have happened soonish anyway.

I had a show at 10am on Thursday, contractions started 5am Friday, then spent the whole weekend in the latent phase until having a S&S and my waters broken at my appointment at the hospital (was 3cm and BP was high) on Monday morning. Olivia was born that night.

I woke at 3am to go to the toilet and my waters broke while on the toilet - nice and convenient. Contractions started at 4am. Regular contractions from a bout midday I think, Jack was born at 6.56pm that night. I had no warning, he was 8 days early. He was supposed to be a week late like everyone else in my family!

I didn't have a show at all, my waters broke at 12pm on the Monday (40wks+3), no contractions at all until 8pm, then it was all on! No niggles, just full on contractions. I had her by emerg c/s at 1pm on Tuesday.
Caitlin was posterior but I didn't get any back labour pains, it was just really intense period pains that I could breathe through and the pain would go away (when I exhaled), that's why I was in denial that I was in the transition stage (even though I was throwing up all over the place!) as I was handling it all too well LOL

4pm I received a phone call from my mw saying that I was going to be induced in the morning (this came as a huge surprise). Two hours after getting the phone call I started getting contractions. They were strong and regular from the first contraction. I had my little man at 8.55am the next morning.
I didn't have a show or anything. I just felt 'weird' a few days before I went into labour.

With Jack I started having some show at 35 weeks and had heaps of niggles, this carried on right up until he was born 1 day early. Midwife was sure he would be quite early but no pretty much on time.
With Caprece I had a few incidents where I thought I was going into labour. I had a s&s on the Thurs had irregular cramps all Fri, got bad a midnight and she was born at 6 in the morning. Both my babies were born on Saturdays.

Had the pre-labour thing from 27th Dec till I went into labour on the 6th Jan, I had to have constant monitoring as the contractions were regular but weren't helping me dilate.
Woke up 6.20am, went to toilet, had a show, went back to bed, got up literally 30 secs later grabbed a towel and realised my waters were breaking (luckily just leaking so no biggy) then 45 minutes later the contractions started with a bang. I started with them 3 mins apart and 45-60 secs long, then just before we demanded to go to the hospital 40 mins later I wasn't actually getting a break. Unfortunately the contractions weren't dilating me as Jack was posterior and pointing towards my leg so had to have an epi to stop the pain ASAP. Definitely not a textbook labour.
Mind you, nothing about the whole pregnancy was textbook.

I had no show my waters broke in shower about 11pm then instant contractions about 3 min apart if that at hospital at midnight 3 or 4cm dialated fully dialated at 1am then alot of confusion and being told not to push and then eventually josh was born feet first vaginally about 2am so about 3hrs all up. Definately NOT textbook.
