Topic: Enough is enough - VERY yuk pix ahead !!! Posted: 10 March 2006 at 9:57am |
Ok, you guys thought that tinned corn beef in the fridge was gross ? Well, as you may have suspected, it has only been getting worse.
*** WARNING: Again, if you don't have a strong stomach, you probably don't want to see the rest of this... !!! ***
I had a word to her about that last lot, and so the next time she had some, this is how she "covered" it:
That photo was taken on the 7th, so today is the fourth day it has been sitting there. The day after that, on the 8th, *this* appeared...
Yes folks, defrosted, raw bacon - which is also still just sitting there pretty much uncovered.
So to move a long a little bit, today and tomorrow is my "weekend", so I tried to sleep in ... but unfortunately she doesn't know the definition of quiet. I woke up when hubby left, but that wasn't a problem - fell asleep again almost straight after, around 6:30am. However, at 7:15am she gets up, starts banging around, sounded like a bloody elephant had invaded the house the way sbe was stomping around and slamming doors !! So I gave up, and figured I may as well get up (once she'd actually left mind you).
So I make it out into the hallway and head for the loo, but I only had to take two steps out of the bedroom before the smell hit me I reckon she probably didn't realise I was going to be home today, and would have had a sneaky smoke in her bedroom. Had to get the scented spray stuff out of the loo and run up and down the hallway with the button held down, but I *still* felt like chucking up.
Anyway, I thought I'd be brave and see just how bad it was so you guys know *exactly* how relieved I am going to be once she is outta here... coz the silly girl didn't even lock her door !
That is the view from the door, and here is a close up of her bed - note the beer bottle on the left side, and the plate on the right:
Then, if we move a little to the right of where her pillow was in that last pic, to the floor next to her bed, there is a whole bunch more exciting stuff like...
The bottle collection
This *was* coffee, but I didn't think coffee was supposed to jiggle...
And *this* was what was in the bottom of one of that horde of beer bottles - which to me, is what confirms she is still smoking inside !
As Gaye will know (jdjzmum), this is really the last straw for us with all of this... and after a bit of a think and a chat to my hubby, he is going to confront her when he comes home from work and ask her about the smoking. If she is honest and says yes, we will be kicking her out on the spot. I just worry that it will turn nasty and she is going to make a scene - but Roland has agreed that I should make myself scarce while he sorts it out. If it does go wrong and she refuses to go (and by go, we mean her AND all of her stuff), the mates we are going to have for dinner tonight are both police officers anyway... so will be handy to have around.
So, last but not least, here is a view of the *bottom* shelf of the fridge when I opened it up this morning:
I can't remember if I pointed it out before, but she goes through around two of these in a week
Anyway, I'm feeling a bit drained, so I am going to sign off for now and try to focus on something else... I may well need what energy I can save for this afternoon.
Jax

oh to be single and responsible for no one but me...
i thought youd already asked her to leave...(and on another note i think that maybe photographing the contents of an empty beer bottle may be going overboard a bit).

We had asked her to leave but with a deadline of March 18th, which may well change. And I only took a photo of it because if she says she hasn't been smoking inside, it at least makes me feel better that I have "proof". (Not that I can legally use it sadly...)

I feel for you on the smoking - Willie smokes (outside of course) but just the smell of it wafting in under the door makes me queasy.
Kick her out!

Well, if she says yes, we will give her the boot, and perhaps a grace period of this weekend to clear her things out.
If not, we can't do much, but I am drafting a letter stating the rules and conditions that she must abide by until the deadline she's meant to move out on (18th).
As soon as I'm finished that I'm really going to have to find something else to keep me occupied, my heart rate has gone up and I feel dizzy.

Hmm I don't think people like that deserve time to get themselves sorted, you should have thrown her out ages ago.. if it was me and she was smoking inside (esp if it were when I was pregnant) there would have been hell to pay. No one should have to put up with that and I really don't understand why you're being nice to her by giving her time.. just kick the bitch out!

thats just foul jax. i get the fridge thing cos you're preggy. its unhygenic that your stuff is being contaminated by hers, not to mention the retch factor when you have to go in there!
smoking inside is a completely fair reason for kicking her out on the spot i say! it gets into all the carpets and furniture and is a complete pain to get rid of.
i can't believe someone sleeps in a bed with bottles and plates in it!!!!

oh my gawd............. that is seriously off. Looks like she needs the loveys in off that show on Wednesday night that are the "clean queens".
I can not believe people can live and be comfortable in that environment. Does she shower in the same bathroom as you? Bet you will be happy to see the back of her!!!!

She hasn't been home yet on account of her last day at work, my bet is they all carried on into town from the local. *sigh* So that leaves it for tomorrow, because I'm not staying up all night (nigh on impossible in itself) just to have a fight with a drunk.
Heart rate has come down a fair bit though, which is good, was starting to feel really bad - was up around 95bpm earlier, now sitting on 84.
It was nice to have a break tonight though when a couple of our friends came over for dinner, it was just completely laid back and a good chance to catch up with them - we last saw them at our wedding. Ok, so not *that* long ago I suppose, but we've always meant to have friends over and socialise a bit more often !
I'm going to bed now though, and will keep you all updated.
