Oh no, I hope he is ok. You cant feel guilty for that, I would say the same thing especially this time of year with the changes in weather and there are so many bugs going round its not surprising you though it was something basic. if he had of been feeling that sick he would have gone to a doctor and chances are even the doctor would have said the same thing. Stop feeling guilty and just concentrate on looking after yourself and hubby and make sure you let us know how things go.

Its horrible aye, Darron had his gall bladder out earlier this year and it was the first time I had seen him so well helpless I guess and sick and i was really upset. Plus he had to stay overnight which seems to make it more serious and I hated the idea that I was home in our bed while he was there but really its the best place for him. I guess this must be how they feel seeing us go through so much pain during labour and having to stay in hospital.

Sweetheart, I know it's harder said than done especially when you're pregnant, but please don't feel guilty about what happened - it is in no way, shape or form your fault. You couldn't have known what was going to happen, it sounds as if it wasn't presenting as anything serious, and with this weather and everything else I would have said the same things as you (to my hubby). Fair enough, when things like this *do* happen it's pretty overwhelming, and I think what you're feeling as "guilt" is only really a testament to how much you love him, are committed to him, and just want him to be safe. I know you already are, but just focus on giving him all the love you can and taking care of him. Keep us up to date, we're here for you !!

Don't feel guilty! I once told Lewis to "be a man, get over it" - he had pneumonia and was going to be admitted and have his lungs drained. Your firstthgouht isn;t "serious illness", it's usually "cold/flu" etc. So, I think we would have all done what you did - not the worst wife at all!!!!
I hope your DH is feeling much better today! And you too!

Oh my! Like the others have said, Catherine, don't be so hard on yourself! You couldn't know, and we all would have reacted the same way to our hubbies!
Keep us updated, we're all here for you!

take it easy and remember to look after yourself and bubs too. (its easy to forget when we're stressed and worried)

Hope hubby is feeling better today and you find out what is going on (not knowing is usually the worst thing). Look after yourself.

Oh Catherine....so sorry to hear about your hubby. We will prey that it is not cancer and just a growth of some non dangerous kind.
I know its hard but relax and think positive. You need to think of your bub as well. We are here if you want to vent out but take care of yourself.
You and your hubby will be on our minds and prayers.
Take care

Catherine, fair enough you shouldn't be alone at a time like this anyway, you need all the support you can get - and I second the part about taking as much care of yourself as you possibly still can. More 's for you !!
