Do any working mums-to-be feel like this?

I'm finding that with 16 weeks to go, my motivation at work is totally exhausted. I have no interest. Zip. Zero. Nada. Nothing.

It's kind of frustrating because I have to work so we can buy the stuff we need to reduce debt yadda yadda yadda but honestly all I'm interested in is going home, putting my feet up, chilling and waiting for our little princess to arrive.

It seems to be worse now that we know the gender and can think of our bubs by the name we plan to give her.

Is it just me or do other working mums-to-be feel the same way (or did other mums feel the same?)

Yes I feel the same way too, and I find it hard to care about the work related problems that people are having and want me to resolve. I know it's my job but I'm not about to stress myself over something stupid.

yes! all you want to do is sit quietly and wait for bubs to arrive.... and it gets worse the further along you are.

Gosh I'm the same and I have about 4.5 months of work left - hehehehehehe. But time will soon fly.....

I'm finishing up one month before and the last 3 weeks I'm using annual leave to make them all 4 day weeks.

It still seems like ages though! Hopefully it will fly by though...

i havent worked for sooooooooooo LONG! but im sure i'd be feeling the same. i left work real early in my first pregnancy because of health reasons and other things.... in some ways it would of been nice to of had a bit more money to buy "special" things, but we were fine on our one income (it was pretty pathetic income too!) and i am grateful for the time i had off relaxing and enjoying myself before jade arrived. and i didnt stop work all together, i worked part time whenever i felt like it. it was GREAT! again though i had health reasons to leave and i needed to rest for mine and jades own good.

Yep, I've got health probs preventing me from working more than one half-day a week this year, and I really loved that little job, but now, I'm so OVER it!! There's a chance the job might end a school term before I'd planned to leave it, and the only thing I'd miss is the wee pay-packet. I just want those extra few pinga's for baby things, and that's the only reason I agreed to stay on another term from what I'd originally said. And I wouldn't return to the same work when I do eventually return to work (part-time, many years from now, realistically). I've practiced social work for years now, and now that I'm pregnant, I'm just not willing to put myself in some of the dodgy situations I've been in before. I'll be looking at other work!

I was saying the exact same thing to my hubby this morning! I'm soooooooo tired this week (getting over a nasty cold) and I'm finding it really hard to do anything at work. I LOVE my job, always have and worked really hard to get here, but right now I couldn't give a rats if any of the projects I'm supposed to have completed by the end of June are done or not .
My maternity leave start date is very flexible but unfortunately our morgage isn't or else I would be at home right now waiting for our lil' kicker to arrive
