Do you still walk with a baby in the cold

Im starting WW again tomorrow, and need to get super motivated on exercise too.

i have been walking but not as much as i want too..

Now that the weather is getting colder i want to know if its ok to walk with a baby?

DD is 3 months old, i have a nice pram with rain cover & that wind cover thing lol. And of cource if i go with DD i put her in Hat, mittins etc if cold.

Of cource its not winter yet though, how do you ladies feel about taking babys out in the cold????????????????

We walked all weather and seasons with Issy and she was fine. She was usually in her gogo bag .. with a hoodie, and hat on, inside her Silly Billyz sleeping bag (which stayed in her pram).

She was always fine

She'll probably be warmer than you will be if it's a cold day. I've been caught walking in thunder and hail storms and Cooper is the only one who stays nice and cosy! So not fair!

Agree with Emz, you put your hand into the pram & it's so toasty! Elise was always on the sideline of a rugby field last winter with her rain cover, shawl, hat, mittens, socks, polyprop, tights & normal clothing ... I prob got a bit carried away with what I put on her, but she never got sick

I dress my DD up warmly, like the other ladies, and off we go.

She loves getting out in the fresh air and is always dry and warm in her blankets and with the stormcover on the pram

I've been pretty lazy the last few weeks actually, thanks for reminding me to get back into it!

Oh yah that makes me happy, im wanting to start walking everyday at 9am but its still pretty cold where i am.

is there any way of keeping them toasty and dry with a sling in bad weather? i have been thinking about this walking in winter thing because i walk to uni everyday and dont want to take a buggy

I always walked with C,right from the start , and she was a june baby, I just wrapped her very warm and put the rain cover on , she was always fine .

I'll be doing the same with this baby too

Caden was born in late June when its very cold and I went out with him heaps, I just made sure he was dressed up really warm and he was in his buggy sleep sack and had an extra blanket over him if it was reallllyyyy cold, and then the rain cover over the pram. All Good

Like the others said, they are more warm than you are, in a pram with the rain cover over top!

TBH a sling can be really uncomfortable. I'd get a wrap or something where the weight was more evenly distributed. I had a wrap for Jake and had a jacket that was a size too big. If the weather wasn't too yuck I'd have a polar fleece (again a size too large) to keep us both warm without overheating.
