LOL just wondering if anyone else is sad like me & is a Shortland Street fan? or merely watch it because they can't stand John Cambpell or Susan Wood...
anyway if so - WHAT THE HELL is Jay doing????? Why is she straight all of a sudden? I'm seriously confuzzled!!!!!! Apart from the fact that Dylan guy is a creep, I thought Jay was madly in love with Maia?
My soapie storlyine detection radar says that Jay is going to get pregnant to Dylan... how's she going to explain that?

I said that last night too Emma, about her getting preggy! She doesnt even seem to feel guilty about it... And I really wish Tania would get back together with Mark already, I think he's lovely (apart form the cheating on her thing!)

ok, so what is the story with ant? what was all over his body? was he beaten up or is he sick? its weird...
i thought it was so rude of jay to be all angry at maia and say she had to accept that she (jay) will do anything for her business - she basically spelt it out that she would shag him for the business! (or do we just know that because we have seen all the stuff happening?)

I am totally digusted at Jay!!!! I agree with the pregnancy thing... I said that to Peter last night too 
Ant has really really bad excema (sp?)
I want Tania and Mark back together too, although I think TK and Tania would be a good couple too

Im totally confused aswell - it's not on. I personally don't like Mia, but no one needs to deal with that kind of rubbish in there life - and Mia will find out, it's only time. Sarah and Craig are pissing me of to - grrrrr.
I agree with you girls also - Tania needs to get back with Mark!

I agree about Tania and Mark.
I hate this Jay storyline. It is ridiculous - but can anyone remember when Jay and Maia arrived, which one of them it was that helped the other come out of the closet? I think it was Maia that helped Jay - amybe she isn't gay, but bi. After all, she did sleep with Norman!
My ultimate would be for Maia to go on a revenge rampage and take out Jay, Libby (hate - just hate), Sarah (wah wah whine), Huia (never liked her, not the right match for Craig), TK (blah)...
Ok - that is probably enough cast members for the chop!

Can't stand whiny, possessive Sarah, and I don't know why people think Craig is hot. Ummm hello - old! But I do think TK is hot - he just needs a haircut.
Oh, and Baxter reaaaaally grates my nerves the way he talks thru his nose. And how come Maia and Tania are both brown and Libby is white? Puzzling over that one!

the whole scarlett thing is pretty boring too though, its like they are just trying to find a way to get rid of her cos she is doing nothing.
I heard Maia on the Edge one day and she was saying supposedly Libby takes after thier mother and the Tanya and Maia after there father but I didnt think the father was that brown from memory.
I just hope Tania doesnt take Ant back yet again, he is just freaky

OMG! No one else (I know) has ever noticed the fact that Tania looks Maori or PI. Maia looks almost like she is part asian and Libby is total Pakeha - maybe Italian heritage in there. I have raised that point so many times and no one has said anything!
No, Ian was NOT part Maori/PI/Asian or anything like that - he was a *typical* southern farmer type rugged man, but was pakeha.
And anyway, if Maia and Tania supposedly take after the mum - Yvonne is so middle aged white woman!

Haha a friend of mine used to be friends with baxter.
I really hate sarah hello craig cheated on huia with you why would he not cheat on you.
Jay is a fool and shes on every nz soap. Tania looks more like jay than maia i reckon.
I love Eti hes the dearest wee soul.

I actually worked with Alison Quigan who plays Yvonne. She directed one of my plays. She is VERY opinionated! Not her biggest fan! As for Libby - we needed a new bitchy character cause Li-Mei died.

Ok,
Jay and Mia - yep i am another one who thinks that Jay will get pregnant!!! And Mia will find out, she has to!!!
Tania and Mark/Ant - Ok well i think that Ant is a freak and although i like Tania and Mark as a couple i also think that Tania and TK would make a good couple (not to sure why). And yes TK is hot!!.
Sarah/Craig/Huia - Ok well i agree that Sarah is annoying but at the moment i don't like Huia either - and well Craig is just a dork, don't know what either of them see in him.
Isn't it funny how after you watch a programme for a while you really get to "know" the characters and talk about them like they are your close mates or something.

Oooh I was just reading in the Sunday paper this morning that Huia's character has been axed and the actress chucked a tanty about it.
I wonder how they write her out - the paper seemed to suggest she was going to be killed off?

Just before I left for Japan they did a big chuck-out of heaps of vcharcters and the actress who plays Minnie was selling shoes on Queen Street (in a shop - not like a Hobo on the street)
