When i was pregnant with my son i would only ever feel movements for an hour in the morning and a few hours in the avo but thought nothing of it until he was born and it turned out that that was actually his sleeping patern!! (he has always slept an unusually large ammount) mostly when he was younger as he is awake a bit longer during the day now (only has 4 hours right in the middle) he was asleep all the time except from 9 till 10 in the morning, 4-6 in the avo and 9-10 at night...now this leads me to this baby who is awake almost constantly!!! im a very light sleep and am constantly feeling the kicks and movement through the night!! the only time i dont feel bubs move is a few hours over lunchtime!! so does this mean that im never going to get any sleep ever again once this bubs is born!!??

Has anyone else noticed a patern from their bubs movements to how they act now that they are here????....

Yep, Joshie was like that too. Very similar to his awake/sleep pattern as a newborn.

I didn't notice any connection. The only real specifics I remember are my pg bubbies being very active when I went to bed but Krysti is already sleeping 5-7 hours from 10pm

no Jack didn't really move all that much and he didn't sleep much when born either.

This one moves all the time so hopefully that means she will sleep all the time.

I didn't notice any similarities. In fact, Sienna was my less active baby in utero (to the point where I had to have CTG's regularly to check on her coz her movement wasn't a good gauge) and yet she is now far more active than Mercedes.

Hmmmm Im not sure whether Kahtrell is like that. I use to feel him moving around lots...heaps of kicking....and now when he's wide awake he has his arms and legs waving around and kicking up a storm! lolz..He had strong kicks inside me and even stronger when he came out lolz.oh he also had hiccups a lot whilst preggys and gets them still...not as much as in the first few weeks.

God I hope this Bubba is different when its out, I am not sure it EVER sleeps or stops moving in there. If they are similar to when they are in utero then I am in for a very active Baby who sleeps very little.

Yip there is definately a link here. She never use to sleep that much during the day and it is still the same.

I actually started using the MOzart for Minors cd to get her to sleep a bit during the day when she got to active and to wake her up again afterwards. It worked great.

After she was born and couldnt settle her just put the cd in and she was in dreamland in 5 minutes flat. I love that cd.

I think both mine pretty well stuck to their pattern for the first week or 2 then settled into a good routine. What I think I have noticed with Mikey is how much he moves he never stopped when I was PG with him and he is the same now alway's has some part of his body moving even when sleeping.
