The last couple of days ive been feeling a bit blue...(and im just wondering if its my depression kicking back in), i havent felt like this for well over 2 yrs...

i dont want to deal with anyone...or anything...i know that i have a lot going on in my head at the moment..

I know im stressed over ttc no 2...im thinking about going back to work in the evenings a couple of nights a week...just for some me time and some me money.

Im really really tired...which isnt helping...but the stupid doctor put my iron blood test on teh same form as my ovulation blood form...so i have to wait until my next cycle starts before i can get those done.

One of my friends and I had a huge huge fight on sunday...as she was telling me how to raise my daughter and how to deal with her being clingy...( when she doesnt have any kids of her own) and because she wouldnt listen to what i was saying and just wouldnt leave rhiannon alone when she was having a tantrum i bascially kicked her out...and her parting words to me were..."your child is giong to be screwed up because you are a bad mum"...i was like WTF...AND...I know im not a bad mum infact i think im a bloody great mum...but with everything else thats going on...arrggghhhh

anyway guys thanks for letting me vent...i actually feel heaps better...might have a chat with kent tonight and talk about going back to work for a little bit and see what he says....its either go back to work...or find something to do a couple of nights a week...so im outta the house

Sorry to hear that you are feeling a bit down Kazzle.

Sorry if this offends you but your friend sounds like a right B**CH saying that were does she get the nerve trying to give you advice when she doesn't have any kids so doesn't know what it's like.

I think your a great mum and it might be just what you need to get out of the house a couple of nights a week for some alone time I know I enjoy my every second Friday night out for a couple of hours after James has gone to bed and I feel really rejuvenated the next day.

oh Kaz, big hugs, you know your always welcome to call me up for a vent or come over.
You are a good mum and your friend shouldnt be jumping at you like that when she hasnt got any kids of her own, sometimes its easier for some people to dish out advice without understanding.
going back to works some nights might be good for you, I know I would love to but will be a while yet before I can.
Im sure Kent will support you with whatever decision you make.

thanks danni-chick and i agree my so called friend is a B*&^H and she also knows that i am really really mad at her...as she has spoken to another friend of mine...and my other friend told her that because she was interferring with the way i do things and raise my daughter im not likely to want to rush into making up with her.

and quite frankly i dont have time or space in my life for ppl like that.

on the getting out front...i just need a couple of hours a week to myself..that doesnt involve housework or running errands...lol

he he, that's why i went back to study, the first year at home with paris was the most lonely isolating crazy time of my life. I had no choice, but when ayja was born i went back when she was 12 weeks old. and it was hard, but the best thing i could have done. work, is my me time. i don't get alot of it otherwise.

your friend has no right to tell you how to parent your wee girl. some friends that don't have kids are still great and can sometimes offer an alternative view that you hadn't thought of, but to keep on and get you that angry.. is not ok and not fair. Kids when they pack tantrums are best left to get over it themselves, and at this age that bubs is, (and anywhere up till 2ish and over still) they do get clingy and a bit weird on it. sometimes you have to just keep going and tell them no you can't pick em up, but mostly all they need is a bit of a hug and then are hapy to go off and do their own thing.

how rude of her. I hope things improve for you Kazzle, sucks to feel like that.
Janine and her 2 cool chicks, Paris & Ayja

oo that will be a nice break for you. I know it's really nice to get out of the house - by yourself - for a bit of sanity sometimes but if you're exhausted, are you really sure that work is the way to go? I find once I'm exhausted my life-outlook goes way down also. Not so much a depression thing but just a "woah everything's getting on top of me" for a couple of days.

Talking it out with Kent (and us ) will hopefully help improve things for ya too.

thanks guys....it really helps knowing that you guys are here.

I am looking forward to going up to my friends place...even if its just to help ice a birthday cake for tomrrow..

my friend rang me today...and basically i told her that when i was ready to talk to her that i would ring her...until then i expected her to respect my space and leave me alone...she rung up the phone in tears but frankly i didnt care...may sound harsh but thats what she is like...if she doesnt get her way she tries the waterworks...

oh well one less drama to worry about now...

Good on you for standing up to her! It's hard to do, but in the long run she will have more respect for you and will know that you wont put up with crap.
You're a great mum! What would she know anyway?? - she doesn't have any kids

Just about your blood test, why not ring the doctor and point out that you would rather not wait until you ovulate to get the bloods done and pick up another form?

Hugs Kazzle. I had a so-called friend spit the dummy over Sienna's name, and it sucks.

If you go into the lab they should be able to do your iron levels and then give you back the form/give you a new form to get the ov bloods done later on. Or you could just start taking iron tablets, it isn't going to do you any harm even if your levels are normal.

Oh and talking about ways to get out of the house, I (possibly stupidly) allowed a certain OB member to sign me up for Belly Dancing classes - my belly dances all by itself But it will be good for a laugh, good exercise, and good me-time.
