Topic: Secret Eaters Anonymous :) Posted: 04 May 2010 at 12:35pm |
I hereby call to order the society of the Secret Eaters Anonymous
Hi I'm Lisa and I'm total food crazed maniac! Today there was $20 left over from groceries so I brought myself a Big Mac on the way home just because the cash was there. I was also super naughty and brought ice cream at the supermarket plus a bottle a chocolate sauce that I plan on hiding in the cupboard so DH doesn't see it. It's not that he is against chocolate sauce it's just I tend to devour it at a rate that would really turn him off lol.
I'm such a shocker. I have PCOS which can cause weight gain so I should know better but I just can't help myself. If there is anything in this house that has sugar in it I will devour it in seconds and if we have nothing with sugar I will bake!
Anyone else out there wanna join my super awesome club?Go on tell us your dark and dirty food secrets

Oh darn I forgot to get chocolate sauce at the supermarket today!! .
But I did get a bag of Doritos cause they were on special and I want to know what all the fuss is about.
If we have anything choc in the house then I have to eat some of it every day, I am not a nice person if I don't get my daily dose of chocolate.

See I can never make anything chocolate last more than a day in my house. If I buy a pack of timtams I think maybe I'll just have one then before I know it the packs gone and I have a sore tummy.
I wonder if a hypnotist could put me off chocolate and transfats lol. That would certainly make life easier

My food indulgences aren't secret at all. DH is a chocolate addict too which only serves to encourage the habit. Being a chocoholic isn't socially unacceptable as smoking or excess drinking - its almost encouraged.
I thought about that when I went to see a hypnotherapist - but couldn't bring myself to sacrifice my one addiction.

Puts hand up
I'm going to have a lie down because I've devoured 3/4 of a (small) loaf of fancy bread with cheese and garlic on top and now I feel sick.
That's what being slightly bored and stuck home with a sick child do to you. Should have got off my behind and cleaned the house instead.

Oh my, I often bake during the day and finish it before DH gets home BUT DH is worse than I am. I have to hide the junk food in our house or else he will devour it in seconds!

I love maccas, have it once a week, but wouldn't admit that to people
We eat alot of chocolate - probably a couple of king size a week....each
Not really bikkies, but chips so I try no to buy them and sugar. Have been much better over the last few weeks, not sure why, but we do eat healthily, and I *hide* my junk addiction becasue it embarrasses me, I, too have PCOS and am fat, but I know its an input/output fatness, lol and the pcos dosne't help...

actually I know why I haven't been as bad... I have been gettign money out for the groceries for the week and once its gone thts it... that stops any extra trips to maccas or extra junk going in the trolley. With the card, I just spend and its not like "real" money.
Oh and I drink a small bottle of coke zero every day either the 400 or 600ml.

I just have to remember to do the dishes as well! If there is any left over DP eats it as well. Yesterday I made piklets (YUM!) and ate about 1/3 and thought we could have the rest for dessert, but DP came home and ate them ALL so much for saving some for later.

I have been known to buy myself a block of Green & Blacks at the supermarket and eat the entire thing in one sitting simply because I can then dispose of the evidence so DH will be none the wiser to how much of a pig I made of myself.

I had been on a burger ban after New Years - but after getting pregnant and a number of takeaway options not on the menu - I'm addicted to BK rodeo and bbq bacon burgers - nom nom
Well when you bake you've got to taste test to make sure what ever you've made has turned out ok. Its to make up for the cake batter spoon I can no longer lick.

Oh yes, I'll join the group.
I've often bought chocolate biscuits and then hidden them, eaten the whole packet, been caught out by DH and denied it. I'm a shocker when it comes to sweets

I have a addiction to Mcdonalds cheeseburgers. They cost $2.20 each.. I'll often no longer have change in my wallet because then it leaves no trace and we don't miss the money

I seriously can not have any chocolate in the house!
We brought some chocolate for mothers day (dammn shopping day being on a monday and having to wait a whole week for the weekend!).... Gone!
It really doesn't help either that there is a 4 squre right across the road... there is nothing stoping me at all!
I even tried not taking my wallet, just the cash i needed when popping over to get bread.. that failed when Maddi snuck and ate an easter egg and i then had no money left for bread

haha oh yeah I'm here!
I am a grazer too! Before I realised it I had eaten a whole pack of squiggles whoops! Multiple trips to the pantry.
I am such a chip and dip girl! It's disgusting lol but so is mum I blame her! I am overweight but have no excuse except I do no exercise and eat far too much I'll be honest here!
DP is just as bad as I am if not worse when it comes to ice cream and chocolate I often don't tell him that we have any lol. I bake a couple times a week because I'm trying to practice DD's birthday cake and he bugs me until I ice it to eat it.

I would confess, but I have salty chippie residue on one hand and homemade guacamole on the other...
It makes it hard to type.
