Way to go bubs!!! That must suck for you guys.

Are you going for another scan later on to find out or are you just going to take this as a sign that you are not meant to know.

I was so worried that Ethan would do that but luckily he was willing to show us.

We have another scan in 4 weeks because he wants to check the heart a bit more as he wasnt able to see everything due to being 2 weeks before they usually do it so he said that i could give it a go then and see if bubs cooperates.
And yup we were a little gutted as we had a shopping trip planned for afterwards and there wasnt much neutral stuff to choose from!

Aww, my bubs wouldn't open his legs either! The scan lady told us that we might have to get it another time, but at the last minute she jiggled him around a bit (kinda hurt) and he turned around.

Hope your little one co-operates next time.

I had one of those, every scan Andrew refused to show us anything until 4 days before I was induced and the OB could finally see and then asked if I wanted to know. I told him where to go and I didn't care what it was. So I never did find out. Hopefully bubs will be nice at the next scan for you, or you get someone that will jiggle it about.
I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Naughty bubs! It is so frustrating when you really, really want to know. SOunds like your bubs was in a similar position to ours as they couldn't see everything either so we have to go back - make sure you drink juice and ice water and anything else people think makes bubs move before you go next time!

sorry ginger I was looking forward to announcing it like that and then i didnt have anything to announce lol

The sonographer said that he could see everything else but 'its' feet were tightly covering the area and although he could not see dangleys, bubs seems to have big feet!!! so that could be why!! I said to him "cant you move it to a different position and see from the back?" so he tried half ass to do it and bubs would just move its feet further back
Everyone iv told has said "what a little lady"???????? and i keep on refering to bubs as a her automatically which is weird having already had a boy! but i dont mind what it is i just want to know!!!!!! im not big on supprises!
I got a little excited for a bit there because i thought i saw 2 little dangley "man bits" but he said no thats just super big feet and would be way to large to be boy bits

At least iv got another chance in 4 weeks and i will certainly be doing all the ice water tricks etc!! i never expected to have any problems as i was able to find out what Bay was!!

I'm feeling for you right now. We had three goes - all a month apart - to find out Krystiana's gender and even on the third try her foot moved out of the way for a "window" opportunity only. No second look!

I really cant complain though because i have a beautiful little cheeky baby regardless of whether i know what it is or not
I was just annoyed because the sonographer was such an ass and didnt even try really and i was really looking forward to going shopping for a certain colour but not to worry
I had several scans with Bay for several reasons that may well occur again so there is always hope even if i dont find out in 4 weeks

Hehe Becks when I was in labour with Hannah I started haemorraging so they scanned to check for placenta praevia (did you count all those med words I just had to spell? ) and the OB asked then if we'd like to know. We cracked up and said we figure we can wait a couple of hours lol. I think we had to wait 3

when i was 18 weeks i had a scan with caitlyn and the sonographer first told me "all three are fine and healthy" then once he stopped laughing at my expression of absolute fear he told me he was joking (ha bl**dy ha) then he told me it was "more likely to be a girl" well thats nice i thought " it could be just as likely to be a boy"

but THEN when i was 26 weeks i had gastroenteritis and had to stay at the hospital and cos i asked a few (hundred) times they did a scan for me just to find out the sex
this is me and the sonographers convo:
(ahem)

me -whats that? ( i meant is it legs or arms or a neck etc)
her- do you really want to know?
me-yeah (thinking , duh)
her-its a girl
me-huh? a girl! how do you tell
her-cos that there *points to vagina* is what we call a "hamburger"
me-im having a girl
her -smiling* yes you are
me-im having a girl
her -yes thats right
me -im having a girl
her*no longer smiling* yes you are,now would u like to see the face?
me-oh haha (trying to be funny) shes got my eyes
her-thats the mouth
me-oh

hehehe Caitlynsmygirl, Thankyou for sharing your experience i love hearing how other ladies scans went
My scan with my son went a little differently - much along the same lines as your conversation only he said "its a boy" and i said "oh no i think your wrong can you check again?" to which he said "no im possitive as he is pretty well indowed (SP?????)" and then came the tears!!!!! as i was expecting a girl!! but now i feel terrible for having done that and love having a boy and would love another.

The sonographer this time could not even give me a guestimate on what bubs was all he could say was that there were no obvious dangleys but that it didnt necesarally mean that bubs isnt a boy he just really couldnt see!
Your lucky that you got a "more likely to be a..." as i wasnt even allowed that!!!
With Bay the guy the was absolutely possitive about his sex and even wrote "XY" on the scan pic of his dullies

Thats what Jack was like had his legs wide open. this time bubs had her legs crossed and was sitting on them so there was no way to tell but we got a really nice scan lady who sent me to the loo and luckily bubs moved so we could see her bits.

I had a little jiggle (felt like a twit!) but my bub was in no hurry to move so I gave up. Even tried lying on my side so we could get a better angle.
