Just wondering for those who have used EPO if you have inserted it after special cuddles????

My instinct is to not bother as DH stuff would surely be better anyway.... but then I thought, could it really hurt to have both there at the same time?

What are you thoughts/experiences?

Mel - I have no experience at all with EPO, but I reckon it can't hurt to do both!! anything you can do to help things happen naturally has to be worth a go IMO...

Won't it all be a bit messy Mel? lol  I'd be inclined to leave the EPO if you're having special cuddles with DH.....  use that the night before and the night after etc but the same night sound too hard lol

I use EPO on the days when we don't have 'special cuddles'. Just assumed it would be over-kill to do both...and possibly a little messy!

My midwife recommends 2 x 1000mg 'up' in the morning and 4 x 1000mg 'down' in the evening before bed... Not sure it's doing anything given that I'm now 2 days overdue!!

i think that they both do different things anyway...
i was always worried that if there was too much gunk up there when i went into labour that the mw would wonder what i had been up to!

I'd be inclined to leave it when you've had special cuddles.

I was under the impression they did different things too, but would be worried about all the "stuff" up there lol

Maybe alternate days or do EPO morning and the other at night?

I dont think Id do them both at the same time, kinda pointless when DH's stuff would be better, and it would be rather icky lol

Apparently EPO has prostaglandins like sperm so I thought they would compliment each other.... oh well, not a problem if I cant get any!
