Can't believe they're talking about Jack Tame. The kid is about 12.

so long as its not matty mclean! but yeah jack does look young. he managed quite well when he filled in before. I think that if they are gong to be with Pippa they need to be strong though to keep her from waffling!

yeah i know - but she may come back again, she wasnt gone that long last time. maybe that will be a good reason to replace them both and get a whole new dynamic. pair jack tame up with a strong woman to take the lead, he can be the side kick!

Why do we need a bloke to co-host? Why can't it be a female presenter? There have been a few shows with Pippa and Ali co-hosting and I thought they made a great team.

Ali and Pippa were very popular over the summer hols. I'd like to see Ali possibly with someone else.
Having someone older and younger is better than too many kids.
It seems they're working their way thru every TVNZ presenter available at the moment.

I don't like Jack, he's too young looking. And I personally thought Pippa and Ali were like a couple of giggling schoolgirls. Think they are both brilliant individually though.

How about Mike Hosking and Ali? He interviews well. Mind you, I wish that Mike replaced Mark Sainsbury from Close up. Rawdon was also good

Mike's on Newztalk ZB - doubt he'd want to go back to Breakfast - he's been there, done that. There was talk about Sainsbury going to Breakfast and then Hosking doing CloseUp ....

Jack Tame, I think he handles the camera well. And I went to school with him....so he's not thaaaat childish
Ali's okay I guess, would much prefer Jack. Maybe even Koren could come off business. Either of those two would make my morning

Which means he's my litte sister's age which means I still think of him as 12.
(and I still think of you as 8 cos I think you were that age when I last saw you )

Interesting ..... very interesting.
From what I've read between the lines I'd say Pippa won't be back, especially now.
They are doing a mega job interview/trial at the moment... they will never find a pair as good as paul and pippa. It will take a LoOONg time to for the newbies to fit in.

Are they ever! I think maybe Koren and Ali, or Jack and Koren, and or Peter and Koren, and move a newbie onto the desk. I just switched it off, I know I'm mean not giving newbies a chance etc etc but I did yesterday and it just didn't entertain me anywhere as much
LMAO Flissty fair enough

Here's what I think about Breakfast at the moment: zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......
And Jack Tame drives me bloody insane. I agree - I would happily look at Koren every morning
