I went out last night and at one point I was sitting down and I got up and I has this really bad pain in my cervix so I had to lean on something for a minute or so.

Happened twice too.

would this means thing are starting to get ready?

I just assumed this was normal? I've had this for a couple of weeks, and I'm only 30 weeks...

well I had the pain again today a couple of times I literally had to stop and hold onto something.

I think if it happens again tomorrow I will give my midwife a text...might not be anything but just want to be safe :)

MeganGrace I had the same since about 34 weeks. Definately felt very odd, and I experienced similar pains during labour!

ooh just a question...say I do happen to go into labour before November 6th as that is the day I am picking up the infant capsule from plunket.

is it possible for my husband to go and pick it up...he would have to sign the contract show ID etc. hopefully the chances of that happening at nil to slim and I do go into full on labour after the 6th.

I don't see why he couldn't pick it up as long as he had a discharge summary or a note from the hospital to say he has a newborn.

When Caitlin's head was engaged she used to grind her head against my cervix and that really hurt, but I was 4 days overdue so it might not mean anything (not sure how far along you are though as I can't see your ticker). Best to check with your MW just to put your mind at ease.

I'm 36w5d (ticker sayd 36w4d as its an american one) I texted my MW she said it could be the EPO and I could stop taking them if I want.

will see how things go over the next few days.

I know you said it was in your cervix but it could also be when the baby pushes on that nerve that goes down your leg, I found it gave me a reaaly bad stapping pain right in my hip socket and would come from nowhere and would nearly make me fall over.
