My sister has just rang me and asked if I know how to dread someone hair?

I don't but does anyone else know??

Its not her wanting them done its her next door neighbour that wants them in his hair.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

Yip, know how to do them. I had them for a couple of years. The best thing I can suggest is that he gets them done by a pro or someone who has done them before. Much better job and better looking!! And to make sure he sources someone who has a good rep.

Meh they are poor students so I don't think they can afford to pay for someone to do them. They can get what they are given by my sister and her flatmates.

Ok just trying to remember, Back comb it and then pull it apart at the bottom so it moves towards the scalp. We couldn't figure out how to get the very bottom done so just left it but it eventually dreaded itself. Warm up the sex wax and keep rubbing it through. They might need to redo it a few days later just to tighen it all up. Just a warning, it takes ages

Ugh, who would WANT dreads? My brother had them for years and they were smelly, ugly, revolting things!

My friend had styley ones that didn't smell, they made him look quite cute too. But he did look a heap better without them.

I had dreads but got them done by a hairdresser.

Tell her to google it... my exboyf cultivated his own but did it over a long period of time. Involved lots of salt water etc.
