I was wondering I have a friend in CHCH she's kinda lonely at the moment and needs to make some friends with babies, she has a wee boy who'd be around 5 or 6months old but she doesn't have the net so I thought I'd source some people for her and put some contacts in the letter I'm sending her.
Hi minis, the chch ladies usually try to meet up once a fortnight and myself, Kylahsmum and shellandbella have babies that age. I'm not sure when the next one is but it is usually discussed on the mums meet up forum.
Spreydon?? Where ever that is, Ive never heard of it before.
Ok well Ive started writing her a letter so I will mention all you guys, is there any numbers for the playgroup in Linwood?
I'd text her but still have no $$ on my phone, and she hasn't got the internet atm.

If she is in Spreydon she should pop along to the Christchurch South library on colombo st in beckenham/cashmere. They have a babytime session (was on Tuesdays at 10.30 but that mayhave changed with a new year). It was excellent and there were HEAPS of mums with bubs of all ages. It was a song and dance kind of thing (although Tom would always sleep through it)
my sister in law is in spreydon and she has a wee boy around that age and also a 2yr old girl aswell. She has decided not to go back to work and I think she is pretty lonely aswell. I know she goes to a playgroup on a friday in the area
I don't go to a playgroup just catch up with other mums for a coffee, would be more than happy to catch up with her for a coffee!! Will PM you my details!
