Hi ladies
Does anyone know of anything you can take for heartburn?
I've decided that I really don't want to take any meds whilst pregnant (including panadol and mylanta etc). I heard that Aloe Vera juice can help but I just checked with a chemist and they said it would only soothe the burning feeling in the throat and wouldn't ease the heartburn itself. I know milk doesn't work (I tried it last night).
Any suggestions would be appreciated

I'm sure there must be something natural, that would help. Try a health shop (Hardy's healthy living for example). They should be able to point you in the right direction.

I know there are homeopathic spray remedies for a lot of other preggy stuff (I used morning med relief for nausea), so maybe there is something for heartburn. good luck!

I know its not a "natural" remedy but I use Quickeze. I find for me that just one does the trick. I mostly get heartburn at night time & its not too bad. And its definitely safe for using in pregnancy. It says so on the packet plus I double checked with my doctor & triple checked with my midwife
