Sposies question

OMG I have to buy sposies!!!!!

Caitlin is starting Day Care and I don't want to continue with the TTing until she has properly settled, I think it would be too stressful for her.

Anyways - they won't do cloth!
So I have to buy about a months worth of sposies.

We've used Huggies in the past but they are so expensive!
But they are really good and I've heard all about the cheapies being "false economy" because you have to use more of them because they don't work as well.

Any ideas what I could use and where I'd get them from?

I can not believe that MCNs in a day care cause any more of a health issue than disposables! I've never heard such crap in all my life!

Personally I buy whatever is on special between Huggies and Treasures (although I prefer Huggies) which Foodtown and Countdown do on alternating weeks. $9.95 a standard pack is pretty good, but I stock up when they're $8.95 which is the cheapest you'll get either of them as well.. Haven't ever tried other brands apart from Giggles which were rubbish.

I use the budget, pams or tendersoft naps for Alize at daycare as they have a 2hour nappy changing policy.  It works out great and I never have any prob with the naps. I use MCN at home and on the weekend. My daycare doesnt mind using cloth either but I just dont have the time to be fluffing around with nappies etc I have enough trouble chasing my girls around packing their bags

I feel your pain Toni mine is the same.

I'm getting Giggles for Josh as they change them every 2 hours so he shouldn't wet through one in that time.

We often have specials at Pak N Save for the Huggies bulk boxes (I forget how many nappies in box) for around $38.00 which I tend to buy when on special. When Ollie was at daycare though I just used the Pams nappies and they were fine but I prefer Huggies.

Hehehe. That's what we do at home but daycare it's regulated. At Gina's one, the policy is 2 hour changes too and they record the 'result' - either wet, dirty or dry (for nothing)

I was sending Alize with huggies and he was going thru them so fast I mean they are really absorbant so dont nned to be changed that often unless soiled but at the DC their policy is nap change every 2 hours regardless if the nappy isnt that full if you get what I mean. Now he can wear a huggies nap form morning til lunch time and it still isnt that full but at DC they would have already changed him twice Im better off getting the cheaper and having the huggies for going out or nighttime use

urgh! daycares against cloth make me angry too!!! it's no different to a sposie!

anyhoo....our daycare also changes on a 2/3hr basis so i'd suggest getting a budget brand nappy. as caitlyn is TT'ing she most likely won't go in her nappy as often anyway. i find the budget brand good and also the cheapies you get from countdown (can't remember the name) they do both my kids overnight, which is generally 12-13hrs!!!   $5-6 for a pkt

i use homebrand ones for miss 3. i find them great now that she is a wee bit older and tted during the day and jus thas a nappy at night.

we use cheap ones for day care, then if they leak it is their problem (ok and mine as I have to wash Jack's clothes)
