Ok, all the web site info etc suggests that at 14 weeks pregnant i should be able to feel my uterus at this stage . ..

I have been prodding around my belly but can't feel anything unusual. Where exactly should I be looking and what does it feel like? How hard should I be pressing?

dont freak out if you cant...mw said oh i should be able to feel it..and she couldnt feel it above the pubic bone and everything was fine..


for me i could feel like a hard lump above my pubic line.. i didnt really want to prod too much was a bit scared!:) i wouldnt press too hard but i really dont know:)!

It gets easier to feel as you get further on too, by 20 weeks it will be about level with your belly button, and now at 24 weeks I can feel mine about an inch and a half above my belly button, but I suspect mine is a bit bigger than "normal" coz it's my 4th baby.

It feels like some sort of rim, not too much thicker than the jelly at the bottom of the bowl when it's not stirred properly lol. You will learn to feel it after the mw has done it a few more times too.

I could never feel it with Maya, I think coz I didn't really know what I was feeling for. It does get easier with experience!

Same here yummymummy lol, I probably have felt it while Ive been feeling caden move round and stuff but I never prod my belly hard, so I dunno lol
