OMG I have been looking at a few other forums tonight and I can't believe how many people out there are so rude with the comments they make about other people and the things they do/make etc.
I am so glad that we don't have people on here that aren't out to pick a fight everytime a new post is done.
I do wonder why these people are like this and what they do IRL.

I don't mind it, I quite like to read them, and come to my own conclusion. Sometimes I'll offer an opinion other times I just ignore it.
I have been a "victim" of a sl*gging on another forum and everyone came to my defence it was such a good feeling.

Yeah i dont like rudeness, or catty people, thats why I left school!! I refuse to be catty and rude, generally if i dont agree with something someone has said on here and other forums I keep my thoughts to myself.
People just end up getting hurt, and thats not right.
Rude people IRL P*ss me off even more, and sometimes I will let them know they are being rude, but in a subtle way!

TradeMe can be a bit of a shocker, people post for genuine advice / ideas and get sl*gged off. It can be quite heated.
I go on there cause I can't get OHBaby at work.

i went to treasures..or huggies can't remember and was talking about being preggers with Taine without knowing - for four months (i was breastfeeding Jake and didn't get m y period back), and some woman went off at me - about how stupid I was not to have known - blah blah blah. she hadnt realised I had been breastfeeding another child - hence not having a period - hence not "missing" it. But didn't stop to ask. I was so upset, I came back here and bitched and moaned about it....frequently.

Seriously tho, that's not the first time I've heard bad things about the Treasures forums and TM are in a league of their own! Still, you can't control all the nutters, and even we get them here from time to time...

Yep TM is just crazy!!! Something so simple can be taken completely the wrong way and it seems quite 'clicky' (from an old lurkers point of view ), so don't much bother with anywhere else since I was made to feel so welcome here!!

I post on TMMB but you need a flame proof suit. Gets verrrrry nasty there. They all hate me in general cos I work for MHJ which is something akin to the devil, and parenting is very cliquey and ass kissy, but, oh well.

That is because you rock Mel!!
I agree with others, you need to have a thick skin to get on in some places. This is a relatively quiet forum with a closer knit community so when blowups happen it is a HUGE thing rather than a "*yawn* Same sh*t different day" thing. So a big thing to be proud of.

other than that I find that other pleaces arent as welcoming so I tend to stear clear!
