Do you have one or if you want one which one will you go for?

There just seems to be such a wide variety. Hubby wants one really badly and thinking to add it to his birthday gift.

We just got a little basic Breville one but I would love something a little flasher with a little more grunt!

I just sold a very basic one for the very same reason, the pressure was not enough to get a good crema on the coffee and it took ages to steam the milk. Basically you get what you pay for, so "next time" thoeretically I would go for a more expensive model with a bit more grunt.
having said that there is an Italian cafe around the corner so it's a lot less effort to nip out and buy one now

We have a little Saeco one which is really good, bit pricier than the basic ones, but it is pretty awesome for a small machine, and then we have our big coffee machine which has just been wired in (it needs its own circuit) and needs to be plumbed is as well! We got it for a good price .......

That is what we have as well, some of the cheaper ones just really aren't grunty enough to froth decent milk.

We have the Sunbeam Cafe Series (about $800 but you can get for $600 on special). You need a flasher grinder though, as our old grinder wouldn't get the beans fine enough.

BUT

It is magic! We love it and get easily as good coffee as what we would get at a cafe... in fact, I think it is better!

I got a Breville 800 class, and it won an award for innovation I think. It is great... I got mine for my 21st (now 23) and it is going strong.
