And he was so full of doom and gloom! It was so depressing. He was going on about all the negative stuff that can happen: twin to twin transfusion, premature labour, late m/c, gest diabetes blah blah blah. I know it's his job, but I am enough of a nutter to start with, I don't need to know about all the things that COULD go wrong!

On the plus side, he has a portable scanner so I got to see the gremlins, and am having a scan on Wed to check growth and he said they *might* be able to tell the gender. At 14 1/2 weeks? Unlikely me thinks, but however, I'll ask anyway... Then I have another scan at 17 weeks, and then my 4d anatomy scan at 19 weeks. My poor babies are going to be so exposed! No privacy in utero for them!

Those powers that be are good like that! Giving you lots of negative stuff! I am sure none of it you will really need to be bothered with! Just keep it at the back of your mind and leave it there!

I have read that they can tell the sex very early these days! How exciting!

Well, at least he's covered his ass and told you every possible worst case senario! Some doctors seem gifted at making you feel like going "My baby/ies will be fine! " and walking out!

Very cool that you got to see the gremlins, though! And I'm with Jess - so jealous you get so many scans! My first (and probably only) isn't until May 26th!

yep around 14 weeks you can get an ok idea of what sex the babies might be - sounds early but usually you can get the idea.
