Topic: Breakfast In Christchurch Posted: 29 July 2008 at 12:13pm |
Does anyone know a good place to go for breakfast on a Sunday? DF's birthday on sunday, iv booked a hotel fot Saturday night, got him a really nice gold watch for his birthday, we are going out for dinner on saturday night (Thanks to Debbie who gave me a great coupon from Entertainment book), and i have some nice wine to relax in the spa with.
I also bought some really nice platters and have got some peanuts, cashews, lollies and corn chips and salsa (he loves that).
Now i just need to figure out somewhere to go for a latish breakfast.. say 10.30am.. any ideas.. I was thinking drexels, but im on a limited budget and dont know what it costs as they dont have a website.. as long as its around $20 each i should manage..
Any ideas?

Hi
I have been to Drexels and it was cheaper than $20.00 each. You can ring them and get them to fax you the menu. Or the casino is really yummy as well.

Do most of the places along the Strip (Oxford Tce) still do brunch on Sundays? Last time I was home (beginning of the year) I'm sure I ate down there a couple of times for less than $20 for brunch. Coyotes used to do great breakfasts, not sure what they're like now though as those restaurants all seem to change so often!
(Hmmm, sorry probably wasn't much help in the end! LOL)

We went to Drexels for breakfast when we were down there and it was nice. Large meals for a pretty reasonable price.
Sounds like you're going to spoil your man rotten, I hope you have a great night!
