Topic: What would you take Posted: 03 August 2008 at 9:59am |
After the recent storms battering out country and destroying many family homes in various ways I was wondering what things would you take if you were being evacuated and had an hour to pack up your most important possessions, not including DH, kids pets etc lol.
For me it would be 1. Photos 2. Each child memory box including pics, drawings, first 5 years books, plunket books, clothes, hair, random teeth, c sect staples. 3. trophies from the girls marching and Medal from Rock n roll.

Oh believe me there will still be a "whole lot" of me left. I am currently a size 22 *cringes* and to be back to the size 18 I like and suit I have to lose 34kg. Working hard, working hard lol.

Yup I have to agree with you Kels & Melanie - Lucas' baby book, photos, dvds and his fave toy & noddy dvd. Other than that I have nothing I'd be upset over losing, Lucas is my everything

Sorry a bit OT but omg you'd only go down two sizes if you lost that much?
Good luck with your weight loss chick, I will join the bandwagon once winter has passed. I refuse to give up on my comfort foods

i keep all our important docs in a box too so it's easy to grab it all in one go
i'd also take our wedding albums and the computer because all our kids pics are on there
that would be it, everything else can be replaced

My photos they are way too presious. I have an external hard drive with them on and back up cds (as some aren't on the external hard drive) One day i will get round to scanning the others onto the computer so i have all my photos on one place. Oha nd our professional photo we got done of th ekids as no back up for that. (not to mention it cost a fortune LOL)
and thats it all else is replaceable
