Winning a small fortune on a lotto ticket!
DH had to go to the bank on Friday to beg and grovel for some more money, as we were very low in cash and then today, wham, a bit suprise for DH as he checked the ticket, couldn't wipe the smile of his face!
Waahhhhooooo!  It couldn't have come at a better time.

I remember winning $500 off an Instant Kiwi, and it was from a $1 scratchie my aunt gave me. And I won it three days before pay day, and I only had $3 in my bank account.

Yay! I love hearing stories like that.
We're the same, feeling the pinch at the moment too. I got a shock when I looked at our bank account and realised we still had a week and half until pay day .
