   Hi there,
Just wondering if anyone could recommend a good wrap/blanket for wrapping my 3 month old? As it is warming up at night time it is now too hot to use a woollen blanket. Also approximate prices would be great to know.

 TIA

We used big Muslin squares up until we stopped wrapping them at 7 months. Can't remember how much but definitely less than $20 for 3 at Baby Factory

Muslin Hannah was always wrapped in muslin. By 3 months she'd pretty much grown out of the store-bought ones, so we started to not wrap her at night.
Otherwise I was just going to buy some from a fabric store and overlock the edges.

We had mother's choice bunny rugs that we absolutely loved. They're big, stretchy, 100% cotton, and best of all we got a 3 pack for $15. Especially good for my spilly boy cos we needed to wash wraps often.
 There's some on trademe...

I use a merino wrap - cool in summer, warm in winter.
Bit expensive though - $50. They can be found on TM or at www.babylovemerino.co.nz.

We just used a summer sarong, it was nice and big, yet still lightweight to do the trick

We've played around with a few different things. One is a dimples wrap - rectangular shape but gorgeous stretchy cotton fabric, another is a square cotton wrap from pumpkin patch that I was given at my baby shower. While she's still little a regular cloth nappy does the trick, too! Or on hotter days I wrap her in muslin.

we used a lightweight stretchy cotton wrap which was great, then a lightweight miracle blanket, but once he started getting out of that then he went into a Peke Moe - the summerweight muslin is great for sweaty babies :)

We wrapped Hayden in a large muslin square for the first 9 weeks or so and then he got too long for them so we moved on to the miracle wrap - the muslin wrap would be perfect for you going into summer now - if you have access to an overlocker you really could whip one up yourself I bet, I think even I could manage it hee hee!
We have several shaped wraps but unless they pin his arms down like the miracle wrap they are useless for us Hayden will wiggle his fist up in 2 mins flat and keep himself awake for hours sucking on it.

I had large flannelette wraps which I absolutely love but when they got too hot, the best thing I found was thin cotton cot sheets.

   Bit of a late reply...
I bought some stretchy cotton sheets from the Warehouse & cut them up. I've found them brilliant - they were double sheets, so I've made some smaller ones for now and some bigger ones for when she grows. Sheet set cost $40 I think. Soft and light but not cold to touch. I like having several so I can wash them regularly - don't have to worry about them getting all goobly!!
