after eating and drinking excessively over the weekend, i've ended up extremely bloated, fat and generally feeling like crap! usually the bloating would've subsided by now!

i was feeling so good last week i bought a new top to wear this sat for DH's work bus trip........i was going to go and swap it for a smaller size, but now i almost need to go up!!

DH and i are doing the greenlane heart patients diet that you 'supposedly'
loose 4.5kgs in 3 days......has anyone tried this before??

for brekkie i've just had a cup of green tea, 1/2 grapefruit :yuck: 1 slice dry toast and 2tbsp peanut butter!!   thank god i love peanut butter!!    took me about 30mins to eat that small amount of food, guess that's the idea of the p/butter

will let you all know how i go and if i still need to get that top upsized

I know the diet you mean. The hospitals used to give it to patients that needed to lose weight for operations., didn't know that they still do.

It works if you stick to it and then eat reasonable food afterwards.
My Aunty did it once a week over a period of time and lost 19kgs.

Yep. I do it. Never lose the 4.5kgs, but do generally lose about 2kg a week (even with being a little naughty the other four days of the week). I do find it helps to 'shrink' your stomach; for days afterwards I don't eat big meals.

If you are b/f tho it can dry up your milk as it is only about 700cal per day.

Let us know how you go! (the last meal is the WORST - 1 cup of TUNA - dry and boring!)
