I think its called Allan carrs quit smoking, i will have a look when my uncle gets home and let you know.
I was abit skeptical and never thought it would work for DF, hes almost a 2 pack a day smoker and instantly gone to none.

The book is good also. It helped me when I was struggling to quit when we first fell Pregnant. Still want a ciggy though.....:( Oh well, hopefully the cravings will go away someday.....

Yep I second the book. While I haven't used it, my sister has and has been smokefree for coming up a year, another friend for 5 years. Didn't work for BIL though - you do have to be in the right frame of mind for it to work long term.
Good on you all!

I gave up smoking as soon as i found out i was pregnant - and haven't started again (so far . . .) the Allan Carr book is really good and he makes a lot of very good points about cravings coming from habit rather than addiction

That's great congratulations! I found the book really good too but the issue for many of my family is actually reading it, start to finish, a DVD might be more helpful.

The dvd is only an hour long and it just makes you realize what smoking is in ways you didnt think of before, really hard to explain.
I still feel like a smoke every now and then though.
