Hi There

I am organising my sons 1st birthday party and I have no idea what to put in the kids goody bags.. bearing in mind that the ages range from 2 weeks old to 7 years..! Obviously I don't want to spend a lot but it would be great to hear some ideas.

Thanks

We don't do goody bags at our parties - I figure parties are expensive enough! If I were going to, I'd send them home with a piece of birthday cake and a balloon or two. (Since all kids love balloons)

We're living in Canada at the moment and they seem to be the done thing here. My wee girl once got a goodie bag that I would have been happy to receive as a gift. I think a goodie bag with a couple of lollies and a piece of birthday cake seems more than enough to me.

I dont think they are essential either but if you wanted to stickers are good and you can get them from the $2 shops or those stick on tattoos. Warehouse and Spotlight do packs of stuff for goody bags too. Lollies and maybe bubbles.

We got a package of goody bag sets from the Warehouse, which I supplemented with those little boxes of raisins and some bubbles - you can buy packs of 24 mini bottles of bubble solutions with wands for about $5 from the Warehouse.
