YAY! We have just bought our first home so in a months time we will be the proud owners of a mortgage!! How exciting for us.. just wanted to share with you all.

Oh wow that is fantastic news. I would love to own a house/mortgage but the house prices around here (waikato) are stupid and we can't afford to yet. SAVING SAVING SAVING for us too

congrats! Lol we recently sold so are renting, But have just paid a deposit for another section to build. I must say i do like the feeling of having money in the bank, am not looking forward to being poor again but cant wait to build my new house. This is the plan of the place were going to build

Ooh, I like that. we luckily ar being given a section! next to where we are living now - well, assuming that we can both get jobs we like here. so we have three or four years to decide on floorplans, and colours...and stuff

Oh Maria I am jealous.....Its a lovely house. I love the plan........I WANT ONE TOOOOOOO.... 
My house is nice but small and not exactly what I wanted but what the hell...its better than living with my MIL right?
