Hey,

My wee man dribbles like nothing else. I think he is just a dribbly baby on top of teething.

Anyway it is causing the skin on his chin and cheeks to be a bit dry and sore looking, I put some vaseline on it earlier to see if that would help.

Is this ok or is there something better I could use?

We use emulsifying cream from the chemist. It's water based, relatively inexpensive and is great. The other thing we use when it's not budging is a cream from the GP which is half antifungal (I think) and half hydrocortisone.

Yep it's fine. You could also try something like bepanthen.

You might want to have it checked by your gp just to make sure it's not excema or fungal. Is Finley on solids?

He is on solids and he does also have excema, only one tiny patch on his arm, but most people in our family have it.

That's the beauty of the cream I got from the GP - I kind of covers everything including excema! I would say go with the vaseline but if it isn't clearing it up try something else.
