Love it! Well worth every penny. It saved Samantha's life twice in her first year. I wouldn't be able to sleep without it

Love ours too, it's given us real peace of mind because Blake often likes to sleep with his blanket over his face I don't worry about it though cos I know the monitor is on

Dh loves ours more than I do, I am forever forgetting to turn it off, but overall when you think oh they'e been quiet ages you can relax - so yes its worth it, we got ours off trade me so a bit cheaper.

Love ours too, definitely great for peace of mind. We bought ours off trade me in perfect condition - worth having a look for a second hand one on there to save some money

Totally recommend it!
It is just awesome having that extra piece of mind.
We were lucky and got one second hand off a friend, but we were just going to buy one off trademe!
Will be a bit worried, I'm sure, when we have to take it from Lily when the new bubs arrives, but think she'll be big enough by then to not have one!
(also - my other big thing I recommend is a SafeTsleep - am paranoid about Lily rolling over and suffocating, this way she stays on her back when shes in her cot - otherwise she's a very wriggly baby!)

One of our best buys, although we have the Tommee Tippee one
Would have trouble sleeping without it!

We have the Tommee Tippee one too and I wouldn't be without it either, it's worth it just for the peace of mind, especially having a bub that's had a few respiratory issues.

Sorry to thread jack, but i was wondering if we needed a monitor (we would get an angel care if we did) when bub is in a bassinet in our room....? Also we have a tiny 2bdroom house where i would be able to hear bubs from anywhere when its in its own room.... is a monitor nessaccery? do you live in a small house and still brought one?

For those who have had the monitor go off (not because of forgetting to turn it off, lol) what have you done with baby? Is the alarm or you rushing in enough to make them breathe again, or has it been a rush to hospital?
I didn't have one with DD but bought one off trademe for DS as I'm more paranoid this time round with having 1 healthy child alreay, stupid I know but it makes me feel much better,
