hey everyone mila just got exepted into childcare yay!! and i was woundring about the substady how much do you all pay for child care before and after substody?? just so i know on avarage how much im looking at

in chch at my place it's 6$ an hour and as i don't work I get 9 hours(use 8) at $3.51 an hour so I pay $20 (instead of $48) a week..

$210 for 3 days here, no subsidy.

We're enrolled with Family Start and they pay all fees up to 20 hours.

The working for families website has a calculator to tell you how much subsidy you are entitled too.

You get nine hours subsidised if you dont work and up to 50 hours a week if you do
Mummy to Issy (3) and Elias (18 months)

jett gos to a home based carer its $4per hour you can get subsidys for some of them but we dont.

DD 10.5yrs
DS 6yrs
DS 11mths

Same here and bcos the boys are on child disablity allowances they can get the rest payed for by winz too (bay was in for 45 hours at no cost to me, havnt upd astins yet)...so if Mila gets CDA then maybe ask that or sign up with family start

our daycare is $5.50 an hour and $5 for food

I pay $23 for two kids full time with the 50 hours subsidy. I think it must be just under $200 each child a week and that includes food.
