I've only just started liking these, they were huge on my little girl when she was younger and only fit on the smallest setting now at 6 months! But they look very comfy and she doesn't get any red marks from them.

ooooh I've been waiting for a recent thread on these, Mum has bought about 10 of these for us so we were planning to start out using them. Glad to hear that there are people who like them!!
Now all I need is the baby to put in them!!!

Sheena you may find that once your MCNs and inserts have been washed a few times that the leaks stop, the microfibre needs to washed to have the ability to contain the moisture.

I use these ones too and they are great, I have however had a problem with one colour (the aqua one) it bunches up and the stuff on the inside that stops the leaking sticks together :( Has anyone else had this problem.
I love the fact they expand to fit and come in great colours Ü

I have just bought 4 of these to use at nights...how many inserts are you using? Are you using the inserts that you can get with them or others/ (I have heaps of others so am going to mix and match) Are you just using microfibre inserts or are you putting bamboo boosters in as well?
Sorry for so many questions, you would think after 2 years of cloth I would know all this!!

I just put in what I had used in another nap and had no problems with...my only question is, is the fleece supposed to roll out a little? Haven't had nappies that do that before, does it not make the clothes wet with the fleece showing?

I had a whole bunch of these but I sold them on TM a while back. The microfleece on the leg bit would always turn outwards and then his clothes and sheets would get wet. So after a while I gave up.
Im still o the search for the best night nappy. He seems to wee sooooooo much. The nappy will be sopping (but he's dry) but it's like there's still not enough in the nappy.

Well we have used them for 2 nights with both kids, had no leaks, both very full nappies by the morning, but no leaksn and no red marks on their legs which is great. May have to get a couple more now.

So Jess, are you saying you prefer the ecobubs over the babycheeks?

I think she prefers the ecobubs, lol. I like the baby cheeks inserts, How many are you using for day and for nighttime.
R can have a bamboo trifold and a microfibre (3 layer) for day for about 3 hours, and nights are like 2x bamboo trifold and mirofibre (3 layers) and its soo heavy in the morning.
I can't put a spozie on him at night anymore cause they split at the front ful of wees.

Yay I've been wanting to try these, but wasn't sure how good they would be...
Will have to go pick one up this weekend to try out...I'm wary, only buy one of different kinds to start with, have bought some useless nappies in the past!

A couple of questions for all you baby cheeks lovers out there.
I tried one on Cooper this morning that i brought off TM, it was on for 2 1/2 hrs and started leaking. I only had 1 insert in there and it was really wet. Did I have the leg bit too loose? It was on the second snap button.
How many inserts do u use during the day and at night?
Is it normal for the fleece around the legs to point outwards which I find would make leakage easier?

I use them at night, yes the fleece points out but have had no leaks and better no big red marks on his fat little legs.
I use 2 of the microfibre inserts that come with the nappies, plus a bamboo booster and a 4 layer bamboo fleece insert (homemade with stuff from greenbeans). Seems bulky but it works for us and some mornings all 4 inserts are wet end to end, and others they are only wet half way down (normally all 4 are wet through though.) My boy tummy sleeps most of the time and he is dry in the mornings.
Are your leg snaps the second from the inside end? Joels are snapped so there are 4 snap bits showing then snapped on the next one. IYKWIM. They may have been too loose, it did take a little bit of a trial to get them right and we only use them at night so with less inserts in may make a difference.
Have you got any boosters? If I was using during the day I would put in 1 insert and a bamboo or hemp booster as they aren't too bulky but make the nap last longer....but I would have been inclined to change at about the 3 hr mark anyway.

They were on the 2nd snap so 5 snaps were showing. Maybe too loose? I guess it may take a bit of trial and error, I am new to this cloth nappy system all together and really liked the look of these nappy's and their system.
I only have the inserts the nappy came with. So maybe I should try a booster, whats the difference between a booster and an insert?
I have just put another one on him with two inserts and found them bulky, fits better around the leg but I had to loosen off the waist snaps by one due to increasing the inserts.
