Ouch! Why would you do that to your baby? What about when the baby is older, and it getting caught or possibly ripped out on clothing etc,we all know what kiddies are like!

Wow thats shocking! Unless its for cultural reasons that is so not fair! Ive had my nose pierced for 3yrs and last week I lost it in my carpet. I decided I was sick of it as sometimes they can smell (like your ears do) and it would always get pulled out. But now all I am left with is a yucky scar. If that baby decides she doesn't like it when shes older then she is left with a scar that she never wanted

Oh my goodness, that's so not right.

I have my nose pierced (have had for 8 years) and I absolutely love it and have never had an infection... but I made the choice to get it done at 16 after wanting it for 2 years.... no way would I pierce my kids nose!! They'd pull it out anyway and it could so easily get infected.....

I can understand doing ears but a nose is just ridiculous! I'm surprise cause their nostrils are so so tiny.

I'm amazed she could even find a place who would do it. Also it would be pretty hard to fit a needle through such a little nose.

So agree with you there Trish, that is so wrong.

I was a puree feeder, forward facing, cot sleeping, pram pushing kind of Mum... and my kids survived!

No offense intended to anyone here who does this (really I mean that, each to their own) but I personally think ear piercing is just as bad on bubbas. No matter where you put it, a hole is still a hole and it's unnecessary pain people inflict on babies to make them look cute when they're cute enough already. I never understood the point in it.
