... te he he, Made you look didn't i.
After much to-ing and fro-ing, it is official:
Our wedding is now going to be on Saturday the 8th November this year. That makes it about 8 months away from tomorrow.
We have changed venues, for a smaller, cheaper place. It is a cafe that is licensed and does catering etc and private functions. We are having a about 50-60 family and friends there (they can seat 80 at a stretch so our numbers should be all good), We are having a romantic ceremony at dusk in front of a fairy-light covered archway inside the venue, with candles on the tables, In front of our famly and friends, then a supper and drinks and still speeches and cake, then some dancing for those who want.
Budget has gone far far down from what it was going to be.. All worked out should fall below the $3,000 mark. (worked out bare minimum and that came in at $1,200 so have allowed a little more for a few things)
The venue operator is awesome and just from the small meeting i had with her today is so willing to just let us go with what we want. Same place my mate had her wedding bash a few weeks back and she had told me this lady was great and she truely is.
Huge huge thankies to Teresa who chatted to me on Msn last night and really helped me out when i was feeling stressed..
WWWoooooot! Finally thank goodness for that

lol Teresa, that doesn't include the approx $2,300 already spent on my dress, the rings, my shoes, my jewellery, and the 40 or so candles, plus platters and etc etc, that we already have.. which we are sooooo going to find a use for in this somewhere. lol
Oooh AND, we took the groomsman to get fitted for his shirt and pants today at the suit hire place and asked if the happened to have any ties in our colours, to which the lady said they did, I got him to try one on (cos i never would have gotten mike to try it) and mike ended up reluctantly agreeing that we could get them. (then said later, Yeah i said we could hire them, but ha ha, you're not going to be around to guarantee i wear it ) cheeky sod.
