i googled and the only thing i could find was this..
At the recent annual gathering of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, which 27,000 cancer specialists attended, much of the news coverage focused on the new "targeted therapies" and much of the talk in the hallways on the astonishing prices drug companies are charging for them. For years, we've been hearing about the "magic bullet" drugs that will expand cancer treatment beyond the long-standing triad of surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy (often derisively called slash, burn, and poison). A few of these new drugs have won FDA approval and come to market, but the prices are so high that many patients who might benefit will not get them.
Probably not what you wanted but it was the only thing that came up!!:)

No idea what slash is either...even my delightful students aren't talking about it....although they do mention the need to go for a slash when referring to the need to pee!
Gotta love teaching at a boys school!

I'm having a wee employee issue. The term 'slash' keeps coming up in a particular context in emails etc ... After reading, re-reading, and re-reading again 10 times, I think I may have it a bit wrong though, and 'slashing' and 'slash' are somehow tied in to a particular loose lifestyle ... hard to know!! The drug thing is definite though, I'm just trying to dig it out properly. I'm sooo unused to this sort of thing! v. proud of myself though - knowing what Eckies are. And, if someone has been up 4 days straight without food etc, then said someone is probably on LSD or P - right? Could be party pills though I suppose ...
Deep joy.
That's a handy little booklet you've got there BS

well - E lasts about 4-6 hours. LSD trips last about 6-12 hours but then they might take more when they have peaked after 3-4 hours. Then they might get insomnia etc
I know for drug testing P only can be detected within 24 hours...yet marijuana can be up to 2-3 weeks depending on use.
ok now i sound like a druggie but honest i am sooo not! just need this book and info in my work!

Is the employee gay? I remember learning in media studies (of all things) about slashing, which was a gay male thing.

bs - comes from smashed and sloshed being mixed together, no doubt came about when one was slashed
There were many interesting words I learnt about while looking for slash though, good ol urban dictionary

I'd say P or Party Pills if up for 4 days straight. E doesn't quite have the same awake effect... unless it has a speed component in the pills too.
And haven't heard 'slash' before but then I've been out of the party scene a few years now!

Very plausible given the tendency to meld words at the mo - like Crunk - Crazy drunk

But slashing?? strange one!
Maybe you should just do a "random" drug test? You can buy the kits quite easily (relatively cheap as well) and your best bet would be on a monday morning or possibly fri morning if they go out on a thur night as well.
