We are with Vero. They are not the cheapest on the market, but have the best cover IMO and are definitley the best for claims service.

We're with AMI for Car and Contents. No contents claims yet but they've always been amazing with our Car insurance (last 2 cars we had seemed to be magnets for bad drivers lol!)

We are with State and they are great. Nigel had an accident (he was not at fault) and the guy who caused the accident had no insurance and tried to claim that DH was at fault even thou the police had been at the scene and knew that the other guy was at fault. State handled everything for us at no charge or excess to us.
We have house, contents and fullcar and 3rd party car on the other one.

AA is actually very competitive. If I weren't with Vero I would most likely be with AMI as I believe their cover isone of the better on the market, but you need to take out the extensions (away from home cover, carpet matching, no excess for glass claims etc), which makes it more expensive.
Love Vero though, cars are with Lumley as have insured for business use at present and they are much, much cheaper there

Vero here too for house, contents and car (DP's car is with another company though as he went through a broker and doesn't want to change, even though I'm trying to get him to agree). If I wasn't with Vero I would probably still be with Tower, or AMI because of what they offer.

We are with AMI for car, house and contents.
I had a spate of prangs a few years back, and their claims process was great.

We use our bank (BNZ) and they were absolutely amazing when we had a fire in our house. I've never experienced such awesome service. It was a weekend and they answered their phones promptly. The assessor dude was here the following day (on a sunday) and when we had questions they answered them all very fast.

State for car and contents. Only one experience of clasims and they were great, paid out in full even tho the guy who hit us had no insurance, licence or even owned the car he was driving, they paid out the claim the excess and it didn't affect our no claims either

We were with state but changed to AMI last year as they are cheaper, we have home, contents, landlords and two cars insured. Only thing claimed so far is a windscreen repair.

State here, no complaints except my premiums went up heaps this year coz I had content/car claims from when my car got stolen, even tho it wasn't my fault and the police arrested and charged someone, and I filled in all the paperwork to allow the insurance company to seek compensation from her as part of the court proceedings.
