Lol I made the CD for our wedding right before the ceremony and my brother raced it to the venue about 10 mins before we left, so I was not very organised!!! But I walked in to Amazed by Lonestar.

Hahaha Kelly - I am so glad you started this thread. I will be keeping a close eye, as we don't have our music sorted out either (or a makeup artist)....

A friend of mine walked down the aisle to "From this moment" by Shania Twain, which while I'm not a fan of Shania's, it was a gorgeous song.

I love that song KA
Mine doesn't help much, as it was all traditional (church wedding), but one of my best friends sang "At Your Side" by The Corrs during the signing of the register.
My BIL and SIL had a country and western themed wedding (spit roast for dinner, and we all sat on hay bales), and she walked down the 'aisle' to "Breathe" by Faith Hill and they walked back out again to the theme music to "Bonanza"
Friends had "It Had To Be You" (Harry Connick Jnr) and "Better Together" (Jack Johnson) - and "Happy To Be Stuck With You" for their first dance

Ohh I agree joshierocks, I'm not a Shania fan either, but a couple of very talented friends sang that song a capella at another friend's wedding and it was absolutely beautiful.

oooh goosebumps! hehehe
I walked down the aisle to This Years Love - David Grey.
We signed the register to Come Away With Me and The Nearness of You - Norah Jones.
We had our first dance to Drive - Incubus.
Oh, Kelly! You're going to have a FABULOUS day!
I would re-live my wedding day over and over, if I could

weegee-Bonanza theme..awesome! great someone has heard of Katie Melua!..DH got so much jib for picking a song with a title like that but he loved this part:
There are nine million bicycles in Beijing
That's a fact,
It's a thing we can't deny
Like the fact that I will love you till I die.
We are twelve billion light years from the edge,
That's a guess,
No-one can ever say it's true
But I know that I will always be with you.
and he's not normally romantic!!:)
anyway so best wishes for the weekend Kelly!:)

I had shania's from this moment down the isle. I tried not to, but it summed it up perfectly. Looks like we made it (Also Shania) for register signing, (by gee I mucked that up! Then I swore - loudly - at a Christian church wedding, go me!) And I'm walking on sunshine for the other way.
I like Jack Johnson's Better Together. That would have been cool.

I walked down the aisle to Pachelbel's Canon (talk about organised I knew I was walking down the aisle to it since the first time I heard it, I was about 12yo, I told DH about it and so he bought a cd with Canon on it and played it in the background when he proposed to me).
When we were pronounced man and wife "Morning has Broken" started playing (I have a really talented friend who played the Cat Stevens version on the piano) and we signed the register to Ave Maria played on the organ by a different friend and sung beautifully by another friend.
We had a bagpiper play as we left the church and again when we entered the reception venue later in the day.
