- Wag the Dog. It's a great movie!
- Memento

- Letters from Iwo Jima
- Flags of our Fathers

These 2 were directed by Clint Eastwood , one is through the eyes of the US and the other is through the eyes of the Japanese.

ETA: Ooooh Princess Bride rocks too

We have a vaaaast collection too (and never know what to watch).

Definitely Amelie! :D And in the same vein, City of Lost Children.

Others I keep going back to: Office Space, Tommy Boy, Usual Suspects, Labyrinth, Princess Bride, Willow, (these are popular huh!) Ladyhawke, Big Fish, Totoro, Spirited Away, Collateral, Role Models (which is brilliant).

And my (not so secret) shame, Disney movies - everything from the Little Mermaid on. ;)

I heart the old Disney movies - The Lion King etc. The newer ones just aren't as cool (or maybe I'm getting old ).

I also like The Green Mile Glow, and in a similar vein, The Shawshank Redemption.

Willie says I have to say Once Were Warriors and Utu
