Topic: Rant about my husband Posted: 26 January 2010 at 7:15pm |
GRRR... and grrr again!!!!
my husband came home tonight, said he had a crap day cause he did nothing - he was in diff locale filling in... i was trying to get him to see that the amount the real estate agent sugested was possibley a bit low, he got all cranky and wouldnt look or listen... siad the dinner is ready and the kids are hungy... they werent even whingeing... then he sits and mopes at the table with this horrible long face on! i hate that face! then says oh the kids wottn need a bath tonight... (he does the bathing normally but lately has been trying to do only every 2nd day). i said no, eden needs a bath cause of her chicken pos spots! OH! he says and looks even more grumpy., i didnt think that was even possible! Then he gets up and goes to bed!!!!!!!!
He did nothing all day! I got up at 6am - albeit it was for me not the kids - and put up with grumpy poxy kids all day...and now i have to still put up with them!
hes done this before, had a bad day at work and gone to bed early! I dont like it!
Ok rant over!!!!! got to go run a bath now!

Hugs to you all. Sounds like a rough time in your house. Certainly sounds like DH isn't a happy camper at the moment...is there anything that reliably cheers him up?

Aww, bloody males! Mine is a grumpy bum tonight too but at least he is still up
I think you need to ring and get another couple of agents thru your house before you decide as the one you have got doesn't sound crash hot.

There is no way my DH would get away with that, unless he's really really sick or dying! I'd make sure the kids are in the room waking his arse up! haha
Are you going soft Deb?

Just doesn't sound right for a man to slink off to bed so early. Maybe I just don't know men well enough...

You both had cr*p days but he bet you to bed. Maybe you could ask to swap tomorrow night and you can hightail to bed as soon as he gets home.

Men always seem to think their day is worse than anyone elses, at least that's what my DH is like. I don't like to put up with it either.
How can he be grumpy over doing nothing? He gets paid for it doesn't he?
