Topic: Spotting etc Posted: 28 September 2006 at 6:25pm |
Just wondering how many of you had spotting in your first trimester?
I have on and off since Monday. It hasn't been much, but enough to have me pretty worried. I have been to the Dr and he isn't too concerned but I am going to go back today as I have noticed that my symptoms are dissapearing. I had really full sore breasts but as of yesterday they seem to have pretty much gone back to normal and also I have still been temping and that has gone down a bit as of this morning.
I'm booked in for a scan in 3 weeks but I will be rocking in a corner somewhere by then. I know its not really looking to good for me but just trying to kep my hopes up really

Jennz what I've heard about spotting is to not be concerned unless it's bright red or a lot. You say you're going back to the Doctor... did you mean tomorrow? I hope things go well for you, especially since (I think) you have been TTC for a while. ***hugs***

Jennz, I had it with my first not this one. I was really scared about it as it happened at work for me. I was told by my MW that so long as its not bright red and lots of it, then it is implantion bleeding.

Jen... spotting in early pregnancy is pretty common I think. I had weird bleeding at the start which was possibly implantation bleeding?!?
Anyway, don't worry too much! The symptoms could just be settling down and tomorrow you'll be throwing up like a maniac!
Good luck babe!

Well just been to the Dr and hes told me to prepare for the worst- not so much because of the bleeding but because my symptoms have gone. Am pretty bummed at the moment.

Sending you some sticky vibes and hoping that your lil bean is just burrowing in deeper. I've had 3 bleeds with these two gremlins, one at 5 weeks, one at 9 weeks and one at 25 weeks, and I also found my symptoms came and went a lot in the first few weeks so here's hoping everything is all good for you.

Jennz, hope everything is OK for you.
I too had some spotting at around the 5-8 week (brownish). Then I had bleeding at around week 11 (bright red) and was also told to prepare for the worst - I have only had mild pregnancy symtoms anyways so could not tell if those had changed. The dr ordered me to get a scan the next day and everything turned out to be OK - they could not see why I had had the bleeding and bubs was very much alive and moving around. I have had bleeding once since but have also heard the bubs heartbeat since then so everything must be OK.
Fingers crossed for you - sending you lots of sticky vibes and lots of hugs

I am having a scan at 7 weeks- so in 2 weeks time but the Dr gave me the impression he thought I would miscarry before then. All my symptoms have completely gone and it has now been almost 3 days- I had really strong symptoms and then to go from that to nothing for this long is a really bad sign. I'm still spotting too and its getting redder.

Nah no blood as such- just a tint of colour in my discharge. I have been having a bit of nausea but that could just be stress. Its like the worst rollercoaster in the world... ever! It is kind of text book symptoms for a "missed miscarriage".
