Just something that I've seen on another forum. It can be a source of amusement, conversation and getting to know people on other forums, without spamming the place up with the smaller stuff that heck, some days you just wanna say it!
Something bugging you? Stumbled across something interesting but not really worth its own thread? Want to know the answer to life, the universe and everything? This is the thread for you!
Wishful Thinking - when your baby/toddler starts to cry, and your DH/DP rolls over and starts hitting away at their alarm clock trying to find the snooze button
You gotta wonder if you need more adult conversation when: One night your husband raises his read off the pillow, and in the quiet tone, usually raised for your little one, you lovingly say "back to sleep" or then later your DH passes wind in his sleep, and you jokingly giggle and say "farties" the way you do to your 15th month old. My DH isn't going to like seeing last nights sleeping habits splashed across the page here, but I found them funny and had to share

I have something that bugs me daily.....
We have been living in this house for nearly 4 years. Why can't DH remember where things go in the cupboards. The measuring cup has it's own spot, but today I found it with the saucepans. The mugs go on one side, glasses on the other but he puts them all over the show. Don't get me started about the colander!!!

Agree with Danaj, I get frustrated after DH has put the dishes away, I go to find something and have to hunt all over the kitchen.

Since I've had a baby I get the feeling that people have no clue about me at all - and possibly don't let that worry them too much. Since my birthday I've pretty much had that confirmed.
Not that I'm not grateful for the presents I get but some of them really make me wonder....

Yeah, I want to know what your presents were?
I've had some pretty interesting ones myself in the past but you have me intrigued lol.
I guess I shouldn't complain too much about DH and where he puts the dishes. At least he does the dishes and tidies up.

At least yours doesnt go bonkers if you put the cups away with the handles facing 0.1 degrees off where he likes them to go.
And at LEAST he doesnt go crazy if the coaster your coffee cup is turned 0.25 degrees.
My DH gets his towel, flannel, socks, boxers/undies, shirt and pants all lined up for work the night before.
He also has a lot of bits and pieces that go on his work uniform like badges and things that clip on his belt. He lines these all up on our dresser in a line.
One day he asked me to get her towel etc ready for him as he was busy, simple, right?
I got in trouble for not unrolling his socks and lying them over his boxers. Sorry my bad, I had them lying UNDER his boxers.
And he denies having OCD

I don't think that will ever happen in our house, he'll get a new roll out, but do you think he know how to remove the empty one and put it on the holder, NO!
Oh and starting a new roll before the old one has run out, annoys me too.
I don't know if they're born that way or its cause their mothers did it for them but I've yet to meet a man who will change the toilet roll.

Not to brag or anything ... but my Dh changes the toilet roll and he even CLEANS the toilet lol
But, alas, nobody is perfect. Not only does my DH not know where stuff goes in the cupboard, but I hate the way he packs the dishwasher - I swear he does it backwards.
And he can never find anything ... I'm always getting asked 'where's my wallet' 'where's my keys' 'where's my .....' Drives me nuts ... like I know where everything is even though he had it last!
And don't even get me started on the way he hangs out the washing

Um, I actually have the perfect DH.
I woke at 3 am this morning with a nasty headache so I woke him up and asked him to get me 2 wet flannels for my head and neck, he did it straight away without question. Then just as he got back into bed I asked him to get me my codiene, not only did he fetch it from the bathroom, he brought the bottle back to me and got a pill out and put it in my hand.
Then when my (also perfect) daughter woke up at 8am he got her, changed her and brought her in to me to feed, then he put her back to bed.
He got up and did several loads of washing while I slept in.
I don't know why he is so good to me. I am always asking him to do stuff for me and he just does it! He never asks me to do anything.
The only complaint I have is that if he eats a cherry or stone fruit he leaves the pip/stone on the nearest surface. There are a few on the window sill in the kitchen, many next to his computer, a couple on the table and one next to the basin in the bathroom . But I can look past this as he is making me some pikelets for lunch now hehe, I am SOOOO lucky!
