Topic: Palmy BBQ Posted: 13 November 2005 at 9:07pm |
Alright so i went to post on the other post about this and deleted what i thought was just my newest post ont he end of it... but hello - it deleted the whole post?! i didn't think you could do that.
ok. everyone but Becs has replied so far, but the consensus is lunch for everyone, with most happy with either date.
Becca has requested the 11th since hubby is away before then. So if it's all good with everyone else then Sunday the 11th of December, lunch it is - if we make it about 11.30 then we should beat the other's to it.
kewl, ok so any other details anyone wants to add.. this is the post to do it now, lol sorry i deleted the other one.. having a bit of a mummy brain day.. lol

when you post a reply - before anyone else replies to it there is a little box that says delete next to the edit one.. i pushed that, thinking it would just delete that entry, and instead it deleted the whole post!
Am possibly thinking that by the barbeques might be a good idea lol

Haha I will probably do that even with name badges!!
Was also thinking if we bring our own lunch (BBQ meat) and share drinks? Cause I LOVE sparkling grape juice (just like drinking wine but not alcoholic - and actually doesnt taste like wine! ) but can't drink a whole bottle by my self!!
Should we PM either myself or Janine with our phone numbers so if closer to the time someone can't make it or something then we can just ring up?

the name tags might be a good idea. In japan I went to this park where they give you name tags for your kids, and you [put your cell number on them so if they get lost, someone can ring you. You put the sticker on the kids backs so they can't get them off. Might be a good idea. My child is bound to go off with any stranger. We went to the Tokyo Motor Show last weekend and he threw himself into the arms of some high school kid.

I'll make a lettuce salad...
Nathaniel might not be coming - he's in Whitianga on a school camp for the week before! He's going swimming with dolphins and all sorts of fun stuff!
