We gave my FIL a photo of Samantha in a nice frame - which he loved. My Dad has his Bday tomorrow so we are doing the same thing for him plus a lotto ticket |

It was my dad's 60th on Father's Day also. We bought him some DVD's of Open all Hours, Some Mother's do ave em and a few others that we used to watch together all the time. We spent the day watching those and having a few drinks.

I couldnt think of anything for my dad so took him out for lunch instead to this really cool place where you can do salmon fishing. Its a restaurant and has a lake/pond full of salmon. Was such a great day, the kids ran around playing and fishing, had a few drinks and some food (dad caught a salmon and they cook it up for you) the sun was shining, it was just a really awesome family day. And hubby was happy cos he also got a power tool he wanted.

I emailed my Dad in Wales, its not Father's Day there but nice for him to know I'm thinking of him anyway. I posted him his B/day present early too so it counts as a joint Father's day present as well For FIL all the siblings went in for tickets to his favourite musician Bob Dylan, and I made the Father's day dinner last night for IL's and DH.

Sent them both a mini wasgij each, and a nice card. And we rung them in the morning. It was also my parents 29th wedding anniversary yesterday, so I wished them a happy anniversary.

My father is in the States visiting my sister but I spent the day with him last Monday and bought him chocolate before he flew out Monday night. FIL passed away when DP was two and his mother never remarried.
DP got bacon and eggs in bed. I bought him sock, undies and chocolate from all the kids. We went to Pizza Hut last night for dinner with them all (his, hers and ours).

Its called Shirvan Lodge, Pound Rd (christchurch) it really was a great place, pity though the guy who owns it isnt very friendly, grumpy old man but the place is cool.

I went to my dads place from 7:30pm and we played PS2 games until 2am. We were going to go out and play pool with my FIL and BIL, but they had to cancel. So Dad and I just hung out, which we haven't been able/willing to do for awhile, so that was cool.
And while playing we ate all his chocolate almonds and roasted cashews that he'd got from my bros.

Haven't seen my father since I was about 15, so we spent the morning at the inlaws - got FIl a book voucher and had brunch there. He got lots of cuddles with Lily so he was happy!
