Topic: OMG this is so wrong Posted: 07 January 2008 at 10:05pm |
This was being talked about on another forum, there has been a tv show that shows women with these dolls. Basically they treat them like real babies. What freaks me out though is how they are prem and they look dead. Take a look at the auction....weird and very creepy.

I really don't get why anyone would want one, and what I find most disturbing is that the women buying them seem to like the idea that they are prem. That e-bay one has it hooked up with feeding tubes and stuff I just find it so disturbing.
And OMG about the female dolls, you can't help but laugh at the desperation of some men

Did you see the 60 minutes/ 20/20 (can't remember which) special a while back about guys who were 'with' those Real-Dolls...?
My God! Honestly. I can understand being lonely and all that stuff, but umm... Sometimes there's a line.
There was one guy on the doco that sent his doll off to be reconditioned (he wore her out pretty much ) And he was in tears as he was putting her in the shipping carton, kissing her goodbye and all this stuff... I mean, really!?

I was more disturbed by the guys who had more than one doll, than the ones who were in love with one doll.

They're amazingly done- they look so lifelike! I just don't get why anyone would ever want one? Seems odd/creepy.
The girl dolls- thats just funny. Some men are so pathetic! Why on earth if you were sad enough to actually buy one would you go on a TV documentary and advertise it to the world!

It's weird, but you've gotta give the artists credit for making them look SO real!

They do look very real don't they?
We saw that doco too - it's amazing to think there are ppl like that who would replace a real woman relationship with a doll? On the face of it, not all the guys seemed that odd in the doco that they couldn't get a real life girlfriend IUKWIM

didn;t one of them on the doco have a gf?
The real baby dolls if you were a collector (like porcelin dolls) thats fine but yeah that one hooked up to the machine was going a bit far.. who wants to see a baby like that real or not real? Credit to the person who does it though talented.
As for the real 'woman' dolls - nope can;t see the point in them except for some sick person who wants to 'hump' them all day. They couldn't do anything else now can they they are a companion unless you like talking to yourself. LOL...

Wow those babies are amazing but they do look dead :( The ones hooked up to monitors are just too sad for words. The beauty of babies is that they have life in them and babies without life just look...sad :(

The baby dolls are pretty cute, but you have to wonder why anyone would want one hooked up to miniors or with breathing/warmth? weird. She makes a good job, they are very very lifelike.
