The past few days have been great. I've had my mum over from Oz and we went shopping yesterday and then again this morning - thanks dad (she used dad's money!!!)

But this morning I had a lecture so it was decided that the boys would got to daycare for the morning and then I would pick them up at 1.30 to take them to the airport to see nana leave.

I got to DC and it had down that the boys were away. They were away yesterday that was planned but not sure why today. Dropped Josh off and then to Andrew over to the preschool and was told that the boys had been stood down due to the fee issue we have (long story with a WINZ stuff up). I told the head teacher that I had been told that that would happen next week (I even wrote down what I was told so I knew what I needed to do), if WINZ couldn't give me any information. But no the stupid (and I can think of other words for her but none that can be on here) woman that does the admin told the daycare another story. But as they were there that was fine. I got them at 1.30pm and was told that until WINZ paid they were to be stood down - I was cool with that, nothing we can do till WINZ has paid - I got the boys and in passing I told a teacher (who I know quite well outside of daycare) where Josh is that he won't be in tomorrow as xxx had told me something different to the daycare, but its getting sorted but don't expect him there tomorrow at least.

Now this pi$$es me off. She went and told the licencee what I had said in a private conversation to her, and after a good arguement she said she didn't want the boys there and I told her I didn't want my boys in a place where privacey isn't upheld by their teaching staff. I told her she can get her money from WINZ herself and that I am not taking responsibility for it (if her admin person is so wonderful why did it take 19 weeks to be picked up on) - yeah I know its my debt but 2 can play these games.

All I can say is watch out the person that repeated our private conversation - and as I know her outside of daycare she is going to wish she didn't actually know me.

But the horrible thing is I am stuffed now for daycare for the boys. I have classes to go to Tuesday - Friday and I don't have anyone for the boys. I have rung a few places but i'm looking at about May to get them both in. So i'm going to try some in home places just so I can get to classes.

So I now just want the world to stop for just a few hours so I can sort my life out coz at the moment its totally screwed.

If you can get Andrew into a local kindy even, you might be able to take Josh to lectures with you. I took Maya to a few with me when she was smaller coz she had diarrohea for weeks on end coz of her allergies and daycare refused to have her until it cleared up even tho we had a letter from the doc saying it wasn't infectious.

I think all things happen for a reason and this is probably the best thing that has happened for us now that I think about it more.

I've just spoken to DH and we can (if we want to) move up to Waiouru for the last 5 months of DH's course. Pretty much free housing and the boys can go into daycare up there for a few hours a week and I can still study extramural and we can rent our place out for 5 months while we are up there.

The boys get to see their dad more (and so do I ). I still get to study and the boys will have social time up there. When he does have holidays (or I need one) we can come down to Palmy and stay at his parents place.

Can you tell i'm a little more happy

Bummer about daycare Becks - they have certainly given you the run around lots lately. Sounds like a good plan going to Waiouru.

I'm going to look at Kindy for Andrew for a couple of days - I think he's a morning kindy person now???? so hopefully that will help him a bit.

I sat Andrew down this evening and told him he wasn't going back; hes a little upset but he understands that he will still get to see a few of his friends (as I have their details).

Sweet I might give them a call tomorrow or Thursday then to see about that for him for a few mornings a week.

At least I know that there are places at the centre in Waiouru for them already.

Yep Central - they can't not take a child from their zone. Their enrolment zone thing is a legal document so we live in the zone they have to take us.

There was a big thing last year about Winchester School and Hokowhitu School arguing over the zones.

Not sure what they do when they are full. But I know that when College st was full (my mum worked there) they still had to make the room for a child that moved to the area and was in the zone.

Yep still a year away but i'm going to look into it later this year or earlier probably before we leave.
