Have you had a reading before?

Have you had your tarot cards read and if so what did you get out of it?

Do you get them done regularly or just spur of the moment?

I have learnt to do them for myself and really enjoy it. I need a lot more experience before I could do them for someone else though. Just interested to know the thoughts of others who have had a reading done for them.

Are there things that you would prefer not to be told?

nope i have wanted to before, but then sometimes im scared of what i might find out haha

DH had one done years ago before he met me apparently....had a tape of session but has lost it...
she told him he would meet a tall female with long dark hair and they would have two kids and the girl would go fishing with him on a boat one day and when they caught a fish she would make him throw it back...

hmmm Ella got fishing rod from daddy for her hfirst birthday.....

I used to read tarot for myself and friends frequently, I bought my first deck about six or seven years ago. I haven't for a while now, so I would need to have a read of my guide books if I wanted to start doing it again I think. I feel it depends on the context of the situation you are wanting the reading for, or what you are wanting to achieve from the reading too. I have had some success using a personally tuned pendulum for readings on basic yes / no questions also.

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I have always been open to this kind of thing - it's also something that you have to take with a grain of salt and not necessarily as gospel.
