What are natural remedies that you know of that helps with healing wounds (like dissolvable stitches etc). I've heard arnica is good? Do you just take it in tablet form or the cream? Anything else? What about foods that are good for healing?

Thanks!

I have been taking arnica spray for the last few days, and my bruises from my iv line have nearly gone. I use the spray a lot and find it really good, but I also rub the cream on bruises and bumps. I wouldnt put the cream on a wound though, but the spray would probably be best for that.

Calendula cream is good for scraps and cuts, arnica isn't supposed to be used on open wounds.

Honey is great for burns.

Yeah, Calendula is great. You can use the arnica around the wound to stop bruising just don't put it directly on the cut. Hypericum is also great

arnica tablets are great for shock, bumps, bruises etc. i always give me ones arnica before jabs etc and a dose after. also good before dental work etc.
cream for on bruises and lumps/bumps.
calendula and hypericum creams are good for cuts, grazes etc.

you can make calendula oil by getting a bag of calendula tea from health shop, put few tablespoons in a glass jar and fill with oil (anytype) then leave in sun for few days . you can then use the infused oil for cuts rashes etc.

We use a lot of Calendula and arnica in our house. The only thing is the calendula is a slow healing cream....but I use it on everything!

Even my OB recommended Arnica to help after the C-sect. I had a spray version. Just a couple of sprays orally every hour to start with.

And LOTS of rest. Do you have someone to come and help while you're recovering emz?
